Speaking of guns...

did you unistall and reinstall? I def got a notice from twitter when I threatened to kill syn

No, I mean, I can't even click that twitter link here on my work computer and do anything but view it. It's not the app, it's my account.

I've had a number of notices and suspensions, but nothing this time. I haven't even said anything particularly bad

Deleted and reinstalled. I've been permanently suspended. Complete read only, I can't even like a tweet. Gives no reference to what I said or retweeted to violate their cunty policy.

Yep, juggs is suspended.
Your old account is still up, though.

I have like 5 email addresses. I'll just sign up under another when I have time

I did appeal it. At the least I want them to tell me which post I got suspended for. I've seen people banned from twitter for simply retweeting things. Getting banned for a retweet while liberals can wish death up and call Clarence Thomas a nigger and be applauded for it....

Come on Musk, start your own platform.

NPR and Fox radio news both reported it.
Yep, I said NPR.

They reported on the shooting but did they hail the hero?

Called him a good Samaritan and quoted the police calling him a hero.

Yeah, I was shocked.

Don't know if it is true, but I read the dude hit the shooter 8 times with 10 shots from 40 yards away with a handgun.

Impressive.

Juggs - need to get another pistol, have a small 9mm, thinking a .45acp, but maybe 10mm or .40? I dgaf about target shooting, will be used solely to kill zombies / protection. Are the S&W decent enough?

What's your budget?

Little as possible, I’d rather buy more fly rods
I would think a Glock would be the cheapest good option (unless you want to go as low as possible which would be a Kahr).

Yeah there’s a few factors. By small 9mm, do you mean a compact?

If you’re just interested in a full size and it’s just for protection, there’s really no need to change, just get a larger 9mm. Multi guns means stocking up on different ammo. Sure there’s more oomph to a .45, but a 9mm will kill just the same and you get more rounds in a mag. There’s a lot of arguments over .45 or 9mm.

The plus for sticking with the 9mm is high capacity mags, you already have one, ammo is a lot cheaper, and easier to get. And if you’re ever thinking about an apocalyptic scenario, you’re most likely to come across 9mm ammo. A .40 is probably the next most common these days.

Now if you ever anticipate shooting someone with body armor, I’d go with the .45. Put more of a hurting on them, maybe the armor will protect against 9mm but not an.45, or at least not more than 1 or 2 .45 rounds.

Glock really is best bang for your buck. Always reliable, cheap for extra magazines. The problem is, at least when I was looking a few months ago, I couldn’t find one in stock.

Just don't buy two, or you'll end up like this guy.

I looked there back in February or maybe it was March and couldn't find a single Glock 19....IIRC. But my brain is muddled these days, so maybe not
