Your old account is still up, though.
Evil gator said:yeah the racism and bullying of minorities who decide to be conservative is appalling.

Yep, I said NPR.
They reported on the shooting but did they hail the hero?
Called him a good Samaritan and quoted the police calling him a hero.
Yeah, I was shocked.
What's your budget?Tommy said:Juggs - need to get another pistol, have a small 9mm, thinking a .45acp, but maybe 10mm or .40? I dgaf about target shooting, will be used solely to kill zombies / protection. Are the S&W decent enough?
I would think a Glock would be the cheapest good option (unless you want to go as low as possible which would be a Kahr).Tommy said:Little as possible, I’d rather buy more fly rods
Which one are you talking about?Tommy said:The s&w isn’t a decent pistol?
Gunbroker has a ton.Juggs said:Yeah there’s a few factors. By small 9mm, do you mean a compact?
If you’re just interested in a full size and it’s just for protection, there’s really no need to change, just get a larger 9mm. Multi guns means stocking up on different ammo. Sure there’s more oomph to a .45, but a 9mm will kill just the same and you get more rounds in a mag. There’s a lot of arguments over .45 or 9mm.
The plus for sticking with the 9mm is high capacity mags, you already have one, ammo is a lot cheaper, and easier to get. And if you’re ever thinking about an apocalyptic scenario, you’re most likely to come across 9mm ammo. A .40 is probably the next most common these days.
Now if you ever anticipate shooting someone with body armor, I’d go with the .45. Put more of a hurting on them, maybe the armor will protect against 9mm but not an.45, or at least not more than 1 or 2 .45 rounds.
Glock really is best bang for your buck. Always reliable, cheap for extra magazines. The problem is, at least when I was looking a few months ago, I couldn’t find one in stock.
I looked there back in February or maybe it was March and couldn't find a single Glock 19....IIRC. But my brain is muddled these days, so maybe notRIP said:Gunbroker has a ton.Juggs said:Yeah there’s a few factors. By small 9mm, do you mean a compact?
