Speaking of guns...

Possible pre-emptive goodbye to me or perhaps just some fingers. I've been toying with the idea of making my own gunpowder. It's surprisingly simple with 3 easy to get ingredients and they're making their way into my amazon shopping cart

If you weren't already, you are now definitely on a terrorism watchlist.
Possibly  But it's not illegal and I shoot a muzzleloader. And I'm pretty sure I'll never get to the point of the legal limit of 150 lbs.

Yeah, it's kind of a trope. Some mysterious time traveler or genius from a far-off land shows the locals how to make gunpowder. There's always that part of it where the stranger moves the guy's hand away from the open flame - careful!

speaking of gunpowder, my mom gave my husband some old gunpowder horns that my dad had collected. There was some powder I guess in one I just assumed it was dirt. My husband poured it out in the stairwell of our old condo for some fucking reason and lit it lol. It still had a bit of pop, glad no fingers lost or police called. There was always a black spot on the concrete.

That's brilliant!.

I'm on the fence here. The new serial number law goes into effect in 3 weeks, so sites are selling off the "ghost gun" kits. It's work...drilling your own holes, etc. But I can build a glock for $375 if I buy right now. I really want to do it, though I don't really want to piss away the money right now, especially on something I have to do myself for hte first time. But it's quite possibly the last chance we'll ever get a gun that the government can't trace back to you.

I couldn't help it. Build my own glock for $400? Why not. I really, really wanted something untraceable. Not for any reason, mind you. In fact I'll probably sell it along with my AR and other high capacity weapons :s cratchchin:
