📺Television Movie/tv thread

Almost finished with Vikings. The last season is obviously meh for the most part, but it holds the most irritating death in the entire series to a insignificant character. Bjorn's son, who is being watched by Lagertha in her retirement village, which gets attacked by outlaws. Lagertha's plan works and they fight off the bandits. At the very end as they all ride away, Bjorns son, maybe 4 or 5, runs out and grabs a sword of a dead bad guy and holds up like he's going to fight and says "LOOK AT ME!". He's well outside the villages wall, so the lead outlaw kills the boy and his dying words are, "was I brave? I want dad to be proud of me" or such.

Stupid fucking kid, adults are killing each other and you run way outside the town and hold up a sword for no fucking reason after the battle and ignore the bad guy on a horse right fucking there. The level of stupidity even for a child is so god damn irritating to see in the show, it was just awful writing just to kill off a character.

Reactions: RIP
Just finished the new seasons of Perry Mason. I was hoping it would be a bit more episodic but it was solid.

Perry Mason was a book series? Really had no idea.
yeah I didn't realize either. its sort of gritty and dark, several of the actors from boardwalk empire are in it, I think its some of the same people behind it as well. It took me a few episodes to get into it, but I enjoyed it. I'll probably watch it again.

Have been watching Madame Secretary, mainly because i was bored and Tea Leoni is hot af. Meh. Finished Monarch & Slow Horses on Apple, really like Slow Horses, reminds me of this board. Oh, Reacher is good, but not nearly as good as Terminal List.

Terminal List was ok. Guessed the bad guy from 5 minutes in. He was too cool.

Reacher is a cartoon and they do a good job adapting the books. Season 1 was really close to the book. season 2 veered a bit but the major plot points were still intact.

Agree that Terminal List Villian was very predictable. It’s become a cliche at this point.

Night Agent on Netflix....surprisingly entertaining, despite yet another movie needing to make the President a woman and the 2nd female lead is the White House Chief of Staff. On the plus side, POTUS is kind of a moron and

the Chief is predictably the villian

Reacher Season 3 finally revealed what book they were using for the show. "The Persuader" Good book. Pretty simple story, but also has a bit of Reacher's history in it.

Won't watch.

I started Fubar last night. Netflix show, Arnold is trying to retire from CIA, but one last job....

It's actually kinda funny, though Arnold is pretty stiff, moreso than his usual bad acting.
