In that date news......for once I'm not sure what happened, same end result. 4 hour date, lot of kissing, plans to meet again. We text for a couple days. I asked a question to which I've already forgotten the question and the answer. But after a paragraph of words, she ends with "I don't think I'm the type of woman you're looking for". It was 50/50 either a polite end on her point (which seemed odd after the way she passive aggressively lunged at my face) or she was being slightly insecure/honest or just noticed he had certain differences.
I've lot my patience of ambiguity and just said, "Fair enough, good luck to you".
She never replied back. Hasn't happened a lot, most people these days (men and women) just ghost people and avoid any drama. She specifically said early on the ghosting thing was crap. In the couple times a woman has typed that many words to passive aggressively end it, she continued the politeness to at least say, "Good luck to you as well, I hope you blah blah blah". But nothing. Met this slender, really pretty woman around my age. Fairly country, lives out in the country, nice, sweet, old fashioned. Everything is going good until she mentions she hates the cold, loves the Florida summer.
FFS I hate this god damn state. Every woman down here loves to sweat their ass off in high humidity at 95 degree weather. Fucking lunatics. I may as well quit trying until I get out of this god damn hell hole.

Not about bitching about the cold. She won't do anything in the cold....hurts the pins in her wrist (and she already lived half her life up north). She wants to do hobbies together. I don't want to spend all day on the river in July/August any more than she wants to camp in January. I'm willing to comprise if it's tit for tat. But I have zero intentions of living in Florida 1 day longer than I have to and she sounds pretty certain she never wants to leave Florida.
The options are to see if she changes her mind if it were to work out or just move on and see if I happen to meet someone willing to relocate in the future. I'm not changing my mind about Florida....Lived here all my life. I'll already be 50 by the time I'm old enough finally live somewhere I actually want to.

We all know how this works. I keep seeing her. Say everything goes great. 5 years from now, she's still firm on loving Florida. It turns out as I expected and either I resent the hell out of it (I would) or I just start over again. You know damn well the woman isn't going to be the one to give in.
And hey, not all women get cold easily. My sis/law happily moved her family up to TN and they're loving the inches of snow they're in right now. I've met a number of them who'd enjoy living in the mountains....they're just not nearly as common as the beach/river/boating obsessed ones. The in shape ones just want to live in as little clothing as possible

I had heated seats once. Never once used them. Now I did use the A/C in the seats....having cold a/c blow on your junk in the summer was awesome!
