I read a thing that because so many more men want a fuck on apps that 10s accept 5s so women think they can do much better than they really can for long term relationships

It's not just about fucking, it's the entire feminism movement. Don't settle, you're hot even if you're fat, we're all 10s because it's an attitude. All that shit factors in. Men also outnumber women 100:1 on the apps, so they can be picky....but overall yes, hypergamy is very real.

There's a number of videos out there of women who use to shit on men for complaining about the woman issue and how easy dating apps were. So they made up an account, pretending to men, wrote exactly what they would want to hear, and chose a picture of a really hot guy, made him successful, all that shit. They were expecting to get dozens of matches every day like they do as women....Days, weeks go by and they were lucky if they got 1.

The last dozen "likes" I've gotten....Most of them were 50+ and all 3x my size. And fucking ugly, not even a pretty fat chick. Ugly, fat, and old. I'm not conceited at all, pretty realistic, but I'm attractive enough to pull attractive women who aren't that The woman I'm talking to now, I'm going with a red flag because she doesn't smile in any of her pics. Thin/athletic, pretty enough...but never smiling in a pic, lives in Old Town (Dixie Co)....Odds are good her teeth are fucked But she already started complaining about the cold and how much she misses the heat.

Side rant - I swear every woman I talk to loves to sweat their ass off all summer and refuses to go outside if it's below 80. I spend most of my outdoor time when it's under 70. If I have to suck it up and sweat to do shit with you in the summer, you better suck it up and do shit with me when it's colder than you like.

Many people are self made narcissists now. Not because they inherently are, but social media and bitterness have turned them into one. It's all about them or it's not worth their time if it's not. Incapable of compromise. I'm guilty to an extent...I mean, I can compromise on likes, activities, etc. I can't on shit like last time where she was dumb as fucking rocks.

I grew up going to Bell...there were like 4 chicks I knew that were attractive, one is dead and the others are married Not that I kept in touch with anyone.

This weekend I went to tractor supply for some stump killer. The gal at the register asked me if I needed help (a very pretty light skinned black girl, couldn't tell her age, but younger). I asked and she pointed me to. Well it moved a little, so she came to check on me (it was slow first thing in the morning). She had an opinion, we stood there for 5 minutes trying to read the tiny ass print on the bottles neither of us could read. One of them said I had to burn it off with kerosene, which I can't do in the city after having the fire dept called on me already. Anyway, eventually we make it to the register and kept chatting. She's a farm girl from northern Cali and they kept hopping farms until they settled here. It was still empty, we thought. Another 10 minutes go by and we're still jawing at the register. She was friendly anyway, but she was 100% flirting with me. Eventually someone cleared their throat and there were 5 people in line watching us talk.

Even at 45, my first thought is....My parents (primarily dad) will never approve and I'll get shit about how it's ok to fuck them, but not be in a relationship with one. The last time I heard that, she was hot as shit and just finished her residency as an anesthesiologist FFS.

I think its smaller families and everyone being coddled and told they're special. we're the youngest of 5 and 4 so never believe that.

Oh I'm so not going there. I don't need a race lecture again Not risking my inheritance (seriously, my dad would never consider that or my mom let him)....but not rocking that boat as they get older.

Seriously, I'm not really trying at all. If someone messages me and she's decent, fine, but that's it. I'm run down and stressed lately, don't have the energy or money to waste on dating. A little extra money to waste on guns and a machete, but dating? Ain't worth the headache at the moment.

Oh, no...that was a direct quote early, "It's ok to fuck them, but you don't date them". I've known a couple of my dad's black buddies when they lived down here. It's just an old timey thing. Friends, fuck, business partners, sure. Marrying one? Nope. In fairness, I've known some boomer black men who didn't want their kids dating white kids either.

An example of why I've temporarily put trying on hold:

I finally got a "fuck you" reply from someone who waited a while. She hit like on me. Ok she seemed decent enough, although I'm always hesitant on women who talk about how independent they are. Code for narcissistic. It was really no exchange at all. She likes me, she replies a few times with 4 or 5 word replies. I wish her good luck, clearly she's not capable or willing to converse like an adult. She replies with, "I'm sorry, I'm not on here much". I say, "Then maybe you shouldn't match with people you have no intention of talking to and waste their time? I realize asking women these days to exhibit even a modicum of common courtesy is taboo, but I do so anyway". Days later, "fuck you"

Oh....and the chick that wouldn't smile, who I suspected may have shit teeth (blek).....She said, "So I was already talking to a guy before you and I'm really not skilled enough to talk to more than one person at a time. I should give him a chance first. If it doesn't work out with him, I'll get in touch with you". I just replied, "Do I look like a little bitch that's going to be your backup plan? Naw, that's ok. Good luck". She tried to explain "what she really meant", but I deleted it after reading the few words of preview

These bitches, at this point, either make me laugh, pity them, or think "that tracks". Might be time to go back to a college student temporarily for some empty banging after Christmas
