🔫Guns all new guns thread

I looked at that one but didn't like that it was S&W mags only. The Glock mags can be found cheap (33 round mags are $14.99).

At only 25" oal, it should fit nicely in a duffle bag or large backpack.

Could be worse. I like my sig, but I'll never buy another one becuase of the mags. Sig only mags at $50-$55 ea. I regret not doing that part of the research first.

I still want the S&W folding 9mm carbine. Absolute worst case and I ever have to only take what I can carry, the Sig and a folding carbine in the pack to carry just 1 type of ammo.
My 9mm Kel-tek sub-2000 works fine for me. Accurate and folds up to fit in my get home bag. It uses Glock mags.

I've considered it, but not a big fan of the over the top folding. Although it's very unlikely I'd ever put an optic on that one anyway, it'd still be nice to have the option.
I got the Mcarbo optic mount that swings away to let you fold it up. Works like a charm.

Well... my toy fund is fucked for a while. Shot my 18" AR-15 with the suppressor attached... it is fucking quiet. You can hear the buffer and buffer spring over the report of the rifle. 9mm adapter is supposed to be here this weekend. Cannot wait.

It is shameful that we have to wait 3-4 months for ATF approval to own one of these.

My ammo purchases and the 10mm in December has fucked my toy fund for a while

Wouldn't mind getting a suppressor for the AR-15, but I imagine if I'm resorting to that rifle, things are already fucked and I'm not too worried about sound  Maybe one day.

The one you have now should work. Mine is rated from 338 Lapua down to 22lr, and can be used on 9mm/357 magnum calibers.

Just need to get a muzzle adapter for the AR.

That's strange. Usually they'll be rated up to 300 RUM or something, then work with everything below it.
I can't remember the reason, but that had one...reason, excuse...whatever. They were contracted to the military, made a can specifically for sniper rifles. Then their cans for 5.56 have a longer life span/built differently for the rate of fire/quantity.

Well... because I am a nosey bastard, I asked them what was up with that. Those cans are built out of titanium and designed for a slow fire, low round count, shooting session.

The salesman did say that you can use it on an AR-15, just don't shoot faster than you would with a bolt gun.

Yeah, I don't think their 5.56 cans are titanium. I didn't want to add any extra weight to the .308. And with a likely adjustment in zeroing in with the can on, once it goes on and the scope is zeroed, I'm not likely to take it off and have to sight in the scope again.

I read this thread all the time and I don't know why. I have no clue what you 2 yahoos are talking about half the time.

I got a shit gun. I put bullets in it and it goes pew. Extent of my knowledge.

There's quite a few people I'd like to see publicly executed.

Time for the left to get a taste of their own and dox the jurors and judge.

And I'm too broke to buy ammo before the price goes up, which we're likely to see between now and November.
