🔫Guns all new guns thread

FFS. That's almost sounds as bad as, "I can't define a woman, I'm not a biologist".

Only it's actually much worse since it's kind of important for a Judge to, ya know....know the laws and exactly what they're referring to. Just another way for dumb fuck liberals to turn a blind eye to corruption and unconstitutional behavior.

It was so hard to break my wife from leaning back when shooting a rifle. I'd have to stand behind her and push her forward. Once she saw the accuracy improvement, she kept trying to lean into it. Now it is just natural.

The squared up thing usually gets fixed when you correct the lean.
For a pistol, absolutely. For a rifle, I can't do it. It feels so unnatural. I already have to adjust my head since I've become cross eye dominant as I got older....but I can still shoot a rifle fine with my right eye (though I'm going to work on both eyes open). But the recoil of a stronger rifle, squared up and a correct lean still doesn't absord the recoil like an angled/side stance. Not to mention the ease of looking through a scope/sights of long gun vs. squared.

Mother Jones is apoplectic that these people are allowed to exist.

“They are jacks of all trades,” says Meghan Conroy, who monitors extremist influencers for the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab. What separates T.Rex Arms from the rest of the gun community, she says, is its “masterful ability to create content that appeals to so many different people.” While some of its most popular videos offer product reviews and shooting tips, they are accompanied by a wide range of political content, including interviews with conservative officials and activists. In weekly “T.Rex Talks,” Lucas and his brothers sit in a dimly lit studio to discuss America in decay, and how like-minded, God-oriented people can save it. They often reference the end times and urge their viewers to seize control before things get worse. “They’re selling products,” says Max Rizzuto, another Atlantic Council researcher, “and the product is ideology, too.”

First, I hate T Rex Arms. It's a young pompous, spoiled kid with very high dollar setups (like full blown night vision, guns most people can't afford, etc) and is rather condescending at times to anyone who can't afford to spend $5k on a rifle and another $5k modding it.

My annoyance aside, there's infinitely more people all over social media pushing extremist left wing propaganda. Someone says the opposite and they call them 'activists' for not laying down and accepting leftist activism. Only one side gets to have ideology, huh? Oh, no, only Conservatism is ideology. The left is just right and how life should be.

Russia, Iran, China...someone nuke us please.

I got this email from the school district. "Just 18 months after"....You can point to two incidents within 1.5 years, one happens to be local and the other not, and you make it sound like that's a lot...

Alachua County Public School families:

You may have heard the recent news about a toddler in Gainesville accidentally shooting and killing an adult with a gun that wasn’t properly stored. This comes just 18 months after another tragedy—the accidental death of a local child due to a loaded and unsecured gun.

Our local law enforcement partners tell us they are recovering guns stolen from homes and cars that are later used to commit crimes. They’ve also had to investigate young people who recently posted pictures of themselves on social media with firearms that were not safely stored at home.

Alachua County Public Schools is committed to the safety and security of our students, staff and schools. That’s why we are encouraging families to learn more about protecting their children and families at home, at school and in the community. Research clearly shows that properly securing a gun in the home greatly reduces the risk of accidental shootings, suicides, and gun violence.

Information about safe storage of guns is available at https://www.besmartforkids.org and in the attached flier.

Thank you for helping us keep our schools and students safe!

Palmetto State Armory is killing me. These sales don't usually last long but this has been on sale for like 2 weeks.

I want it but damn, I don't want to spend the cash.

A local shop/range is now carrying Staccato, and will have them on the rental wall. I'm not paying $2300 for a pistol, but I'll go rent one to see what the hype is about.

Ordered the damn thing... supposed to be here Monday. Ordered two 33 round magazines to go with it. Might pick up a couple 50 round drums, if they go on sale on Black Friday.
