To be fair, I-4 is a shit road that needs repairs.....somehow it's been under repair my entire life and it's always sucked. Maybe real damage will get them to put their asses in gear like rebuilding that bridge.

Also, if it hooks left, X will never see the end of the people saying the government controlled this one too :lol:

We're still on the weak side of the storm, but I'll take it. Our curbs are still lined with debris from Helene...even with a moderate storm, we'll have mountains of limbs waiting to be picked up for 2 months before t he city gets it
 
Good God I'm beginning to hate religious people, the ones who say dumb shit. Alachua Co posts the new storm track on FB and all the religious whackados post shit like, "God I pray that you make Milton dissipate before it reaches land like only you can" and similar posts acting like God gives a fuckall about any of this. Like, you've seen the Appalachians, right? Mexico Beach? New Orleans? S. FL after Andrew? When has God ever stepped in and said, "No mother nature, I'm dissipating your storm, you shall not work in the name of Satan!"
 
Good. God. The gas lighting X people I usually agree with are now on X calling Milton another government conspiracy, created and guided hurricane to hit Florida. Because 2 hurricanes this time of year hitting red areas is not a coincidence....in OCTOBER!!!
 
I spent much of my Sunday taking stuff out of the yard and shoving it into the garage. My back is killing me.
 
This is a debate at Alachua Co also. The County is simply saying that you don't have to adhere to the 1 load per day limit and the 5 collection centers will stay open 5 days a week, no fee, compared to the 2 days open to the public. Basically they want us to do their jobs for them. But you really can't expect these places to be open 24/7. It requires employees to monitor everything. You want retards having full access to a landfill? Fuck no.

It was a nice thought by DeSantis, but not thought out at all
 
Mother fucker....AGAIN? The majority of the storm, at this pace, will get here at night again. I don't want to sleep through the damn thing again. I want to watch it out the damn window.
 
Way too many people have been saying the pilot did that on purpose, I call it carelessness or stupidity/incompetence. Everything hurricane related has turned into a conspiracy and the right is gas lighting hardcore. I can't wait for hte power to go out so I'll stay off X :lol:
