It's not like when Mexico Beach was wiped clean. Storm surge largely receded and like you said, it's accessible. For all the hoopla surrounding this storm and how dangerous it was, it was pretty mediocre to Florida.There's plenty of damage in Florida, but at least the roads are open and workers can get through. Shit in Appalachia is absolutely wrecked. Lots of folks still missing, there's not going to be power or clean water there for weeks.
