I've been called evil for wanting people to die for rooting for the hurricane to come through NC Florida.

My reply: 1) Very few people actually die from hurricanes. 2) The hurricane already exists, it has to hit somewhere. 3) Hooking right through NC Florida actually goes through the least populated part of the gulf coast, which makes deaths far less likely than if it hit Panama City or Tampa.

People get seriously all up in their fears and bleeding heart nonsense of natural events that we have no control over. Zero rational thinking.
 
A slight sprinkle and overcast so far. The radar shows the storm drastically shrunk in size as it organized. Some long, scattered outer bands, but it's nothing but light rain. This thing will have to go way east from it's current location for me to even notice it's anything but a dreary day.
 
My daughter and her boyfriend scooted out of Tallahassee yesterday and are over in Melbourne now. She got a little spooked when they said it might be a 4. Her apartment has like a 10ft sliding door on the back.
 
Looking like a direct hit for Tally. I hope it fucks up Doak somehow.

I'm annoyed that it'll be getting dark when the main part of the storm is getting here, give or take. I wanted it to be daytime so I can watch, not miss half of it asleep.

The news is annoying. Every source has different levels of intensity, range, size, and path. It's going to hit as a 4, as a 2. Big bend, further west. TS winds in Alachua, no it won't be. None of them agree on anything, but they're all experts :lol:
 
Cloudy, bit of a tropical feel, 1 -2 inches of rain, big surf, gusty winds 20 to 30. I will be at Crab's Tiki bar.... Martini day! :martinismiley:
 
Close to 6” so far, another 12” expected, it’s going to fk this area up. Creek below my house, normally a small clear Mtn stream. IMG_4203.webp

The path of the eye has been remarkably consistent, I don't remember a hurricane that has followed the model for so long. All the talking heads are idiots just trying to be different I think. Fucking Rick Scott acting like a transplant crying that it's going to be a cat 5 when it hits is just stupid.

Yeah but it's also barely moved. It took like 2 days to pass Cuba :lol:

I loathe all the fake bleeding heart and hysteria.
 
Bity breezy, no real rain. Ain't had power at my house since like 11 this morning. I've been at work all day, but my wife keeps texting me and bitching about it.
