I've bought two S&Ws lately, and they have both been pretty nice.

Yeah, I just can't spend that much on another pistol. The 2 Kimbers just sit in the safe. As much as I'd like to splurge again, gotta be more practical. I'm a little annoyed at just adding another cartridge, which likely means the retirement of the Kimbers for the most part. Definitely would stop buying .45 ammo.
Think I gotta go S&W. Don't need another 1911, want those 15 rounds. Just can't decide on the size. Spent $100 more and it's ported, built in muzzle break, but that size makes it strictly a hunting/open carry pistol. Never gonna be a carry piece. Glock.....reliable, but damn they're boring and kinda ugly. The same thing that makes some people love Glock is the same thing that makes other people look elsewhere. But I'll admit, this Glock is pretty slick.

On another note, the S&W 10mm is out for sure. They still haven't fixed their jamming issues. Some people have fixed the issues by replacing their weak, 9mm based recoil spring and mag springs with springs built for 10mm....Not everyone did. Now I'm down to Springfield XDM or paying 50% more for FN, but can't find any negatives about either of those.

It's never failed me, shoots straight, and never jammed. I've probably put 500-600 rounds through it.
I won't rule it out. Last thing I need is to have to stockpile another fucking caliber. Particularly a caliber like 10mm that was among the first to go out of stock a while back. I might just buy a cheapo like Hi Point and get 100-200 rounds and let that be it, just keep it for bear country.

I just bought mine on a lark. My buddy came over with it. His brother gave it to him. It was brand new in the box. We fired it a few times and he said it was too heavy and offered it to me for $200.
Cheapest I've seen. Next best is where I got the best deal on the Savage .308, for $40 more but I can finance it and pay for it over a few months. I don't want to pay it all at once, just had to call a plumber and A/C repairman within days of each other.
