🔫Guns all new guns thread

Picked up a new toy for when we do off-roading in the side by side. 22+1 capacity. Nice trigger. Slide is so easy to operate that my midget wife can do it.

Going to add a reddot sight and a super bright flashlight.

Added a couple things to it this afternoon… Vortex Defender sight and a Streamlight TLR-1 HL.

Still haven’t shot the damn thing.

I've never added a light to pistol. Considered it, but never bothered since I don't have one solely dedicated for home defense and I'm sure as shit not carrying that :icon-lol:

Not exactly gun related, but I spent more than I wanted to on Kuiu's labor day sale. All clothes this time. A merino wool based layer that's good down to 40ish. Finally got a new jacket, waterproofed in some areas like the shoulders. The pants that go with this have waterproofing in the ass and knees. With my parents gone, I don't have the luxury of stand hunting and walking 15 minutes back to their house. https://www.kuiu.com/products/axis-hybrid-hooded-jacket-valo-camouflage?variant=40536244093086

The next thing I want to get is either their brush pants or go I cheap and get some gaiters. I fucking hate briars.

ATF trying to pass a rule that requires anyone with gunpowder to report to the government the amount of gunpowder and how it's stored every year subject to inspection by the ATF at any time. Falls under the organized crime act.

ATF can fuck off with that.

So, I got my Henry survival rifle for anniversary/birthday present. It's pretty cool, and dead accurate out of the box.

I have some in some old timey horns that I inherited.

This is going to be my "bump in the night" gun and it'll be going in the side by side, instead of carrying a rifle while riding.

22+1 capacity and only drops 4" at 100 yards.

They're throwing everything they can at the wall, hoping something will stick. That way FJB can say he got more gun control through.

Why would Liberty have codes anyway? There's no wifi on a safe that I've ever seen. You'd have to be stupid enough, as far as I know, to go onto Liberty and give it to them in case you forget it or are too stupid to just write it down and keep it in a safe place (not the safe itself).

I have this one.

I think they are talking about a master code that can be used in place of the customer's combo.

Still kinda pointless. You can see online how to break into any of these gun safes pretty quickly. Of course most burglars aren't pros carrying tools, they're either random acts of convenience or they know the target. Realistically, I use a gun safe for 2 reasons: Keeps the them dust free and protection in case of a fire, hoping it gets put out in under a half hour or whatever it is. Theft is really my 3rd or 4th concern. 3rd now, 4th once my kid is old enough to have friends over while I'm not here.

Agreed. If the Feds have a warrant, no lock will stop them from opening the safe.

i don't have a safe and only have 1 gun. If some poor bastard wants to steal that piece of shit, it'll give me an excuse to upgrade.
