Side note - RIP Nole. For the non-20 year ago GSMB posters, he was pretty reasonable and cool for a Nole. Around 40, fell off a ladder, broke his leg, got an infection and died in the hospital.

We have a pretty high % death rate for original TGB members it seems.

I thought it was worse than that. Thought he fell off the roof, landed on his feet, but broke both hips. Then died of an infection like you said.

Yeah...I just went up and cleaned my gutters and decided it was my last trip up the ladder.

I think I saw you in the Leaf Filter commercial.

lol....i almost called them but if you read reviews, it appears they are like vacuum salespeople of yore refusing to leave, quoting a much lower price when told no..... after they quote some outrageous rate.

I guess home depot sells filter much cheaper and i'll either do it myself or hire a handyman. Looks pretty simple click on pretty much.

I wondered what happened to him...damn, that's a sucky way to go out.

I was just starting to work for WFSU when that happened. They were all sad and told me their engineer died. Said I would have liked him. I was like "yeah, funny story...".

He was a nice dude. We met for a bourbon at Hops on his way through town just a couple months before he died. He liked his bourbon.

I think it was that he fell off his roof and broke his hip. He died from a blot clot while waiting a hip replacement. I wonder what other stories exist in gsmb land.
