I liked Quantum Leap as a kid.

Side note - I want to see more tv leads smoking cigars. We have alcohol shoved down our throat in literally every single show I've seen for years. Like a damn near integral part to scenes of every episode. I want to see the lead protagonist, especially anti-heros, smoking a cigar once in a while.

Sorry?

I mean, it's hard to be upset when they live that old :icon-lol: My great aunt died at 98 and I just thought, "it's about time"

Thanks. My poor mother's circle of friends and family continues to shrink. My uncle used to call her every morning. The last year or so, he started developing some dementia and so he'd have a lot of days where he'd forget. A few days ago they moved him into some kind of facility, I don't get the impression that it was a hospice but we knew his days were numbered. My mom still has one sister and another brother living over there.

That sucks. I've watched a couple family members die from Alzheimers. Not fun to see.

I read an article on a science website that Drs are certain they discovered the cause of alzheimers and a cure shouldn't be too far off

Dude, we hadn't seen you on TGB in a long time and you show up here? :icon-lol:

Richard “Lowtax” Kyanka is rumored to have committed suicide. The founder of SomethingAwful.com, once boxed movie director Uwe Boll as a stunt.

edit: confirmed, per local police according to several outlets

“I'm obviously not a visionary, but I predicted that the internet would be shitty back in 1999,” Kyanka told Motherboard in 2017. “Everybody was talking about how the internet was going to revolutionize everything and everything was going to be great, but nobody ever talked about how shitty the internet could also be.”

My uncle Sonny just passed away, joining my dad “punky” and other aunts.

He was an original- he seemed disappointed that my husband wasn’t packing at my cousin’s wedding. RIP Morrie.
