Speaking of WW2 vet and 99 years old, I ran into a friend of mine from Freemasonry. He's still going out to eat regularly since I see him at the same couple places on a regular basis. He's starting to slip a little, as even up to as recent as a couple years ago, he was still sharp as a tack with his memory. Once his wife died a few years ago, he wasn't quite the same and I don't think it was just his age. This man is the kindest, most caring and generous human I've ever come across. He didn't talk about it much, but he was a paratrooper in WW2 and experienced some real heavy shit on the ground throughout the war. When Mort passes, another sad day for one of the truly great Americans.

Yeah he was the Boogeyman in Congress before Pelosi. I do like that he supported research into UFOs though.
