Remember we wouldn’t be here if the Russian and China funded enviro groups didn’t own the Democratic Party

Almost seems a waste for all the NATO spending on defense when all Putin has to say is I might use nukes and NATO forces are basically useless.

There’s a ton of truth in this statement. And the nuclear threat from Russia should be taken seriously. Two things leadership has to take into account. 1. Russia’s current SOPs are no different than their old Soviet SOPs, they just have a new flag. That means their nuclear escalation is far different than ours. They’re more willing to use them. 2. I hate the term tactical nuke but it’s the most appropriate and agreed upon term and quite frankly I don’t have a better term to use... Russia has way more of them than we have. When we hear nuclear escalation we immediately think larger versions of Hiroshima and believe it’s a bluff. But the fact it will likely be tactical nukes used is why the threat needs to be taken seriously.

The hypersonic missiles they have are also a game changer. No one is really talking about this but Russia and China having that capability is a big deal.

All that said, I have worked with NATO forces all over Afghanistan. They are insanely risk averse. To the point of frustration and it’s downright dangerous. I have seen too many of their forces killed because of their risk aversion. Example: base gets rocketed by Taliban shitheads at night. We have the technology to pinpoint where the shot is fired from and return fire immediately. We don’t because we don’t want to kill civilians. Understandable. NATO forces have night vision, if we go out and pursue we have night tactical advantages in air and ground forces. The Belgians’ response was wait until first light to go find the point of origin site and investigate. Between 9pm and 6am is plenty of time for shitheads to bury IEDs, wait for your response forces to arrive and detonate. That bomb killed a dozen Belgians and 6 parents and 6 children in a kindergarten parking lot. That is just one example of several I could give you. European forces and politics have no balls whatsoever when it comes to fighting. They have brave men in their ranks but their leadership is totally feckless.

That's been a theory of mine for a while. Granted I don't actually know WTF I'm talking about, I can only judge based on the news. But we've lost sight of what war actually is and if you want to fucking win, you can't be so overly cautious about civilians getting in the way that you shoot yourself in the foot. Nut up, accept there will be civilian casualties, and get the f'n job done.

America and wokesters need a hard fucking dose of Colonel Jessup.

Euros are total pussies (except for the Ukrainians) but I am pretty impressed at how quickly they have all sent weapons and hit Russia with sanctions so fast. Part of it is fear finally but I think they’re amazed by actual leadership.

Yeah some the anti Russian stuff is weird. I can understand shitting on the oligarchs fuck them, but the same people who said suggesting there was a lab leak is racist are the ones banning Russian cats and dostevsky

Ps I still follow a hilarious Russian cat account on insta, not sorry

Banning RT is fine and makes sense though. One of my former coworkers was always posting clips on LinkedIn of him on RT. He was the spokesperson for the agency that investigates plane crashes under Clinton so it was just like how they investigate after a plane crash nothing crazy, but it’s a little weird to supply a gloss of respectability to an anti American propaganda.

I guess reality is Russia is going to do wtf ever they want in Ukraine, and likely the world starts buying their oil again, to relieve the stupid high energy costs?

Why does a gas station continue to raise its prices even right after they get a delivery, wouldn’t their cost per gal be set already? Do the fuel companies tell them the price each day they have to pay them?

Yep.

I don't think the fuel companies tell them, but no idea really. That'd have to tell them a minimum in that case right? It's baffling to see 2 gas stations directly across the street from each other with a 20-30 cents difference.

Gas prices every risen every single day for the last 2 weeks here. Every day. I'd top off my tank regularly, but it's not worth going out of my way to get to a gas station since I don't drive by one in my daily routine.
