Marjorie Taylor Greene - Someone "swatted" her. They found her address, called the cops, and reported a severely violent crime is happening so the SWAT team busts into their home....which as we've seen, can lead to death. The person who did it said it was because of her stance on trans issues.

Isn't that literal terrorism? They just weaponized the police who are ready to shoot to kill and they're busting in on a person who may defend their home because they don't know what's happening.

Of course they're using it to try to get KiwiFarms taken down.

They did it twice.

Fetterman, holy shit. Shapiro does an entire segment on absolutely ripping this guy apart. He lived with his parents until his 40s. He only has a house because his sister sold it to him for $1. He's been completely supported by everyone around him his entire life. His job as "mayor" paid him like $3,000 a year. He speaks like Biden, only he can't blame dementia. This guy is 100% loser in every life category. And everything he says it's wrong or an outright lie.

yeah I'm not a huge fan of Oz - in particular his shilling of supplements - but its night and day life story. Oz's family came to the us with little and he became one of the top heart surgeons in the world - its a great American story. he's a popular tv personality, he should really be playing that up more vs. someone who has had everything handed to them and believes outrageous shit like murderers should be paroled and socialist nonsense. Lurch chased down and threatened a black guy with a gun.

The dems are celebrating that people hate them less and the R's had some bruising primaries in swing states, but I think by the time November comes around I hope people are logical. The dems just have a ton of $$$ and media and social media on their side wo who knows

This one kills me. It would be endless accusations of racism all over the news non-stop until he was drummed out of the race if that as an R by his name. But Democrats get a pass for racism. I mean, Biden is proof of that.

yeah I saw some lib on twitter going "that guy supports Fetterman so its NBD!" Lol I don't know if that's true or not, but just because they bought off some dumbass doesn't mean the coddled white guy isn't racist is absurd.

So the russian oligarch's daughter who got blown up.

Did Ukraine actually do it (whether they intended to hit her or her dad) or did Russia do it to stir up support for the war?

I'd guess it was Ukraine, they've been doing a bunch of covert shit recently like blowing up ammo depots behind lines etc.. Could be wrong though.

I fucking loathe MTG but swatting her is extremely fucked up.

First it was doxing, now it's swatting.

Waiting to see what's next. Murder is acceptable for people you disagree with as long as you're on the far far left and it's in the name of trans or climate change?

is this really a dunk?

Schools always been expensive, what was the average income when That dinosaur went to school? And again, easy money is why tuition is so expensive now. Same with cars, before 5 year loans started a decade or two ago, car prices were much more reasonable.

Well, the cost of a college education has been rising much faster than inflation since the early 1980s at least. Probably because (1) demand increased dramatically - we've somehow convinced people that you have to have a college degree to qualify for many jobs that don't really need them; and (2) the easy availability of student loans to cover the rising costs, backed of course by the federal government. Don't take my word for it - a 2015 report from the Federal Reserve of New York confirmed it.

I’m not contesting any of that, but people have always had a hard time paying for college. Used to be, you didn’t go if you couldn’t afford it. Now everybody can pseudo afford it thanks to easy money. The easy money made it easy to increase demand, the ease at paying g and getting a degree helped spur the idea that you need a degree, because many people have them so it turned into a job requirement, and here we are today with Democrats throwing gas on the fire and saying we’re all mean for not agreeing.

while there's no question that college costs have soared due to government handing out $$ like candy, people in general had less disposable income in the past and it was never really easily in reach of the average person all things considered. It became a lot more egalitarian after WW2 and so many returning soldiers took advantage of the GI Bill - that certainly raised my husband's dad's family out of dire poverty.

even when I was growing up, my family was considered upper middle class because all my siblings were in college, even though we had lower income than most factory families.

but agree it is part of the failure of secondary education that people were sold the notion they needed to go to college to succeed, and this helped get them off the hook of actually educating anyone. High school grads used to be fine for so many positions like secretarial and other office work, but the failure of high school education and education industrial complex made degrees necessary even though unless you're stem or law or maybe business you don't really learn anything useful.
