📺Television Movie/tv thread

I enjoyed Ahsoka, but if you didn't watch the animated Rebels, it probably wouldn't interest you. There's no context for it at all since it was written as a Season 5.
Glad I didn't waste my time then. I didn't watch Rebel or Clone Wars

I watched Ashoka and enjoyed it even though I didn't have the back story. The kid liked it too even though he's still in the hating things starring women phase.
I think you really had to like Star Wars to enjoy it. Or a Dawson fan. Ray Stevens was great, sucks he died. Or at least have watched the Mandalorian to see Ahsoka and the mention of Grand Admiral Thrawn introduced in S2. It wasn't just out of the blue, they did it in an MCU way.

Atlas - Surprisingly, I'm enjoying it. Went to bed with 30 minutes left in the movie, but AI Smith is damn funny. It would probably not be worth watching if not for Smith and the interaction with JLo

My 9 year old immediately asked how there was fire if there was no oxygen
Well fire in space is possible, but obviously it would require oxygen leaking from the pressurized ship or gas that has oxygen in it and it would only last as long as it's steadily leaking, which would kill everyone on board faster than they show on the shows. The ships would have oxidizers, so it's not impossible. Big explosions on the other hand are almost impossible.

I've never been to space but I highly doubt that any fire that burns in space would burn in that manner.

Watched all 3 LOTR movies, extended versions, at the theater this weekend. Never saw them in the theaters, I has a house full of toddlers back then. They looked great. 1 movie a day, so it wasn't too overwhelming.

The Boys new season - It's ok, you just have to look past the very, very in your face political message - Homelander is obviously Trump who can get away with murder and his followers will applaud him for it and all Cons are racist morons. It's not even up for interpretation.

House of Dragon S2 premier last night - Yawn.

I couldn’t finish the previous season of The Boys, just lost interest. Interview with the Vampire is ok, too heavy on the gay part, but loved the books. Mayor of Kingstown is really good, Presumed Innocent of Apple is good, as is Dark Matter.

Looking forward to the new Jack Carr book coming out tomorrow

Rewatching Letterkenny

First thought is while funny, it's not as funny watching it when I was drinking. I also have to watch it with closed caption on, half the time I can't understand wtf they're saying. The hockey bros are completely useless to the show.
