That’s also pretty true. I’m watching 3 year old Survivor episodes. Trival council is nothing but “be queer and proud” or “everywhere I go as a black woman, I’m only seen as a black woman, and today this is a license to kill”. Then the white people all apologize.

A much better variation of that was.....and I forgot the name, but it's Tommy Lee Jones who tried to kill himself and Samuel L Jackson saved him, then spends the entire movie just in the apartment talking. For entirely dialogue based movie and kinda depressing, it's a damn good movie.

I liked Boiling Point on Prime. Dark drama about a chef in UK, one camera, whole movie shot in one take. Good acting.
Just realized that request was a while ago... anyway, still decent flick.

Finally watched Rebel Moon Part 2. It was ok. Some good action scenes. Like most Snyder stuff it looked great, but was weak in story and character. It also ended in a way for an even bigger story to continue if they choose to make more.

Rebel Moon 2.....ok, the girl hero movie. Entertaining for an action movie, I really didn't need a big backstory on all the other people. Like the sword chick...seriously that banner scene with 30 seconds of exposition was enough for me on the others

Caught From Beyond on Amazon Prime over the weekend.
That's some solid B-Movie HP Lovecraft shit. Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs, who both also starred in Re-Animator, which is of course also a film based on a Lovecraft story.
Some nudity, which is always a plus - Crampton shows her boobs and wears a leather dominatrix outfit.
