Caught From Beyond on Amazon Prime over the weekend.

That's some solid B-Movie HP Lovecraft shit. Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs, who both also starred in Re-Animator, which is of course also a film based on a Lovecraft story.

Some nudity, which is always a plus - Crampton shows her boobs and wears a leather dominatrix outfit.

That was a weird one. Made never want to stimulate my pineal gland with a demonic/other-dimensional machine.

Godzilla Minus One is on Netflix and it was pretty good. Hard to believe that the Japs made it for only $15 million. That would have been a $200 million+ movie in the USA.

Someone hook a brotha up. I've been out of the torrent game for years. All my old shit is gone. Anyone got the hook up on new places to look?

Delete this Doc if it makes you uncomfortable.

The Board is only visible to registered members. It’s fine unless one of those newbies is a fed.

I don’t have a clue, though. Wouldn’t know where to start looking. I imagine the best places are invite only.

I fell asleep during episode 2 last night. I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the whole thing, but getting worked up over that interview is stupid. They are gay. They make jokes about droids being gay. None of that is relevant to the show itself.

Is it woke? Well, they take representation to the extreme. The only white person I recall seeing in the entire show is the one murdered and they made sure that was a woman. They appear to have created entirely new species of aliens just to make sure the Jedi weren't white humans, especially men. They went a little cliche, which for woke leftists, should be racism by making the older, wise, calm man the Asian dude.

The evil twin concept, which you pick up on immediately so it's not exactly a spoiler, isn't original. Nothing outstanding about the acting.....but it's not a terrible plot. It's at least out of the same ol' same ol'. If they wrote it to be great instead of worrying about DEI, it could be a big success by going outside the main characters, the way Andor did. We'll see. So far, other than excluding white people, I'm not going to buy into the cries of wokeness until I see it on screen.
