📺Television Movie/tv thread

my wife loved it, I thought she was as bored as me and tried to get her to leave. Matt Damon showing up 30-40 minutes in made it a little better, but the movie felt like it was 8 hours
yeah I mean the cast was great and for the most part interesting (hey look its Dexters dad/one of the warriors; one of my fave period drama ladies I never see lately), but just a fucking mess. I think Florence Pugh is always great but I don't see what point her character had other than to show boobies and wake up men.

We went to see One Love, wife’s a huge Marley fan. Decent, she loved it though. I didn’t know much about Marley so was interesting in that regard.

Yeah....didn't know if that was enough to say fuck him :icon-lol:

Dicky move of him, but Yellowstone.....well honestly the last season sucked.
They wrap the show in one episode. John Dutton has a heart attack and dies in the governor's office. Beth kills Jamie and goes to jail forever. Kaycee inherits the ranch and his bitch wife convinces him to give all the land back to the injuns.

The end.

Sounds about right

Seriously? I can't tell if that's a joke or for real, both are entirely believable.

Wait, did the last episodes come out yet? Or is that just your speculation?

I don't even care if they did just 1 episode and ended that way. I couldn't wait for the last season to be over. Slogged on and on.

Go back to cowboy shit, some fights and killing. All we got was grumpy grandpa half ass playing politics, half retarding up his life with bad decisions. They even managed to turn Rip into kind of a pussy whipped bitch. Beth's normal psychosis was the only thing decent about that season, notably when she beat the shit out of the vegan.

Back to Fringe, I've started season 3. Some of it has been very predictable (most of the big reveals). I'm not sure how I feel about the whole brainwash our Olivia to be their Olivia. I'm on Ep3 where she now believes, but has moments of confusion/hallucination.

I can't help but notice they completely abandoned 2 minor side plots from season 1. First, the mob was after Peter for gambling debts. Mentioned a few times early on and then poof. Next, right before a raid, Olivia's sister called freaking out because her husband filed for divorce and was going after full custody. Then it's never mentioned again, not even the divorce is mentioned when her sister/niece show up later on. They served no purpose to any part of the story, so fine....it's just weird to have it such a big focal point of specific episodes only to shelf it. Shouldn't have been put in at all.
