Loved seeing that kid kill that asshole.

Daemon is a tricky bastard.

That knight that fucked Rhaeynara is fucking stupid. As a knight of the King's Guard he can get his end wet anywhere and not risk losing his life.

For an episode that basically only featured 5 or 6 people, it was pretty entertaining.

yeah that's why it was a such a sad fuck, you know he'll lose his head for it.

its just a creepy show without the redeeming qualities as Doc mentions. Kudos for holding off the orgy to ep 4.

also when did the targareans start marrying each other? Was it before this show's time? If so couldn't the uncle marry her? Oh Fish, where art thou?

Oh man, I really want to spoil some things for you.

The Targs (and Velaryons) have always been into incest to keep their blood pure, because that's how they can control dragons. That goes back to before they even came to Westeros - it's the "blood of old Valyria." It's frowned upon by pretty much everyone else, but what are you gonna do about it, they have dragons?

And they never stopped - Mad King Aerys II, whom Robert rebelled against, married his sister and had three kids by her - one of which was Daenerys.

I think the King's discomfort with Rhaenyra being seen in the whorehouse with Daemon was more about the fact that she was supposed to be chaste in anticipation of being married off to another powerful family. If they decided the best course of action was for her to actually marry Daemon, no one would say a word (at least in public) - but getting caught fucking him in a whorehouse while being courted by suitors from all the rest of the noble families is pretty disrespectful to all the other great houses.

Joffrey told us in detail what happens to Rhaenyra when he's giving Margery a tour of the crypts. I wish I hadn't seen that  The last episode also specifically foreshadowed(
her death

They must be doing another big time jump if aegon II fed her to his dragon because he's what, 3 or so in the last episode?

Yes, they're going to do a big time jump soon - this week's episode will be the last one with Milly Alcock, the actress playing young Rhaenyra.

Decent episode. So they make another high profile, somewhat royal (almost) figure gay. Was it this way in the books or the writers just go woke and think, hey, we need a mixed AND gay character?

Sir Krisin, Cristin, whatever....sleeps with her once, falls and love, and his response to rejection is beating a man to death and suicide? Over reaction a bit.

Although I don't like her, I do like the Queen's bold move of the green dress to signal she's ready for war.

But per the previews....the King looks like he's dying right now. All the time. We're supposed to believe he's still alive 10 years later and still kicking?

Don't need to address this, I don't want any major spoilers. I mean, aside from the fact that Joffrey already told me who died and how.

But the protector going nut, I'm going to assume that the Queen uses his heart break to turn him against her.

I didn't realize the Iron Islands were so close to Casterly Rock.

Ryswell is huge in the North, yet we never hear that name mentioned among them when they're discussing houses for Bolton and who Jon is seeking help from
