Even if Putin has gone nutso, he has people around him that understand if he nukes Ukraine, they’ll be vaporized as well, and would kill Putin. I think the question is if he does a mini nuke that takes out command & control, would we then start a world war that would kill the planet? Even as addled as Biden is, he’s not that dumb. I think Putin has probably planted the idea that he’s unstable, to keep us on the sidelines, and he does not fear or respect this dumb ass admin. No one does.

What would the international response be if Russia did use a small tactical nuke?

I don't think any of the other nuclear powers would launch a reprisal against them - the stakes are just too high. Would some then see it as an opportunity to use weapons, too? Would China suddenly feel like they'd be free to eliminate Taiwan entirely? Would North Korea launch a strike against Seoul? The shit could hit the fan in a very scary way.

NK on SK, very possible. China wants to own Taiwan, I don't see the logic behind removing them from the map. I think a flat out invasion would be most likely. America simply couldn't fight on 3 fronts; Russia, NK, and China at once?

Putin could very well get away with a tac nuke. There's nothing we can really do to them without risking oblivion.

It'll either be an EMP, or spiking our water supply with phentanyl.
The reality is their hackers could easily shut down our entire infrastructure. Water Treatment Plants are not secure at all, so as you noted they could easily poison us. There's a dozen ways they could cripple us without launching any kind of bomb. The EMP would be most effective though.

Now I'm curious about the range of an EMP. The pulse can't be so broad that it would take out the country. So the major cities lose all power......The SJW's would lose their ability to whine on social media

It’s nearly impossible to spike a water supply. You’d need vast amounts of chemicals for all but the smallest of communities.

Didn't think of that

I've read, with zero proof, that they can electronically fuck with the chemicals already put in our city water and alter the proportions to make people sick.

Not long ago someone tried to "attack" (I don't remember the details) a water plant in Florida, but got caught. The article I read said bad shit would have happened if they were successful. Tampa area maybe?

I'm not convinced that a workable EMP weapon actually exists yet.

The Chinese are already making fentanyl in enormous quantities and shipping it over here. There's a huge problem in Vancouver, of all places, with Chinese laundering drug money through real estate purchases and casinos. I head a podcast interview with the author of this book and it really was eye-opening.

It’s literally the least efficient way to kill people or even make them sick. Think about the volumes of water and the relatively small volume of treatment chemicals that’s added or onsite at a plant. It’s volumetrically impossible.

I think the greater danger is not poisoning our water supply but crippling critical infrastructure like water treatment plants and electrical plants, Remember the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack?

Yes those are much more logical ways to fuck up things

I think shoe bombs are very effective, i feel so safe watching the mighty TSA hassle old grannies to take their shoes off.

That's what I said a couple posts back. Their hackers could cripple our entire infrastructure easily.

The Independent's poll on Democrats who want Biden to step down or not run again, 10% said he's not progressive enough.

Wow. So 10% is our benchmark for how many Democrats are completely fascist and want to make their extremity law.

Check this out, I've been gleefully licking the tears of those idiots all morning

spending money isn't going to change the earth's temperature. These people are delusional. Their reckless policies have actually increased emissions by going after cleaner nat gas and allowing coal to come back.

this one might be paywalled but I'm enjoying the fuck out of their distress
