NPR's Nina Totenberg ran a story saying that Neil Gorsuch refused to wear a mask at work, causing Sonja Sotomayor to work as remotely as a Supreme Court Justice can. Other media outlets ran with the story.

Of course it's a fabrication. Chief Justice Roberts, and both Gorsuch and Sotomayor issued statements saying so.

Yet NPR is "standing by" its story, parsing the their statements in a way to suggest Totenberg was technically correct, even though Roberts' statement is on point and directly contradicts the story.

What a world. Anonymous sources given more credit than sitting Supreme Court justices who are the subjects of the story.
 
Why did anyone think this would end? They had too much fun with anonymous sources during the trump admin and it will continue not as some random accident but to make conservatives look bad. Gorsuch is literally trying to kill his colleague- paid for w our tax dollars

The absolute stupidity of shutting off natural gas - coal use increases in the US so the greenhouse gases they are saying will kill us increased in this administration who promised a reduction. They have no idea what they are doing
