Any day now.

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz's ex-girlfriend reportedly on Wednesday appeared before a federal grand jury investigating him for sex crimes. According to NBC News, his ex, whose name was withheld to protect her privacy, has been in talks with federal prosecutors for months to avoid prosecution for obstruction of justice in return for testifying in an investigation into whether he paid for sex with a 17-year-old. NBC also reported that prosecutors were investigating three separate crimes: Sex trafficking; violating the Mann Act, which bans taking prostitutes across state lines; and obstructing justice. Investigators are reportedly examining a phone call between Gaetz, his ex and another woman - who recorded the call and was cooperating with federal investigators - to establish whether it amounted to obstructing justice. Gaetz came to the notice of investigators through his friendship with former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg (bottom right), who pleaded guilty to six counts of fraud and sexual offenses. Gaetz, a conservative firebrand and prominent supporter of former President Donald Trump, has not been charged with any crime and has denied all the accusations. Have we discussed a Hilary trump rematch?

It does seem like a barely reanimated Biden corpse would do better

The Dems have no bench. There are like 25 r’s who could run and get the nom and win. Who is the dem star? Mayor Pete? AOC?

Pete jumping out of the SUV and pulling his bike off to act like he bikes to work is going to hurt his "genuine" image. Guessing he could get over that, but it's so easily mockable for somebody who wants to look like is the honest sensible guy in the room.

In the primaries because Pete wasn’t a complete socialist and didn’t scream and has a pleasant personality seemed like an option. But to hear him try to speak on policy alone or with a groups he seems like a 12 year old. It’s tough for short guys to get elected president, but he doesn’t come off as having any gravitas at all

Senator Sinema just killed any hopes of Biden passing anything before midterm elections, which means he won't sign anything with any significance other than the infrastructure bill as president.

Don't know where to put this so I put it here and in the covid thread.

I guess dementia can have its positives, Biden won’t have to know he’s one of the least effective presidents ever
