Well there's really only 2 options. They're either completely irrational and so wrapped up in Trump hate that they're willing to lose the White House to put Trump in jail or the more likely scenario, because literally everyone says these charges hold no water, is to do what is happening. But we're a good ways from anything of importance. What is there to gain from getting Pubs worked up and labeled as dangerous at this point in time? They already do a good job at ignoring all the sketchy shit and ways this country is taking a nose dive, they don't seem to need much of a distraction. On that note, the media has done a great job at ignoring the announcement that the Chinese spy balloon did get what they wanted from flying over our military bases, so waiting to shoot it down turned out to be a massive fuck up.Evil gator said:

They want to remind moderates who hate trump that he's nuts an unacceptable. Its easy for normal people who didn't like trump but liked the policies and hate Biden's to forget why they dislike trump. People who may only watch the evening news. There's a reason the Jan 6 hearings and raid on maralago happened when they did. They only need to convince a few people in a few districts that no matter how high gas is and how much they are paying for eggs, that Trump is nuts and anyone who votes for him is racist.
