Dad found her and rather than being labeled one of those careless deadbeats that lets your grandchild drown he put her in a garbage bag and sealed it with duct tape just as he had with several pets over the years. And dumped her in the woods. And Casey made up stories to try to cover it. Casey might have been a shitty mom but she didn't kill her child. IMHO

Never said he killed her. He just tried to cover up the negligence of all three adults in the house letting her drown.

And if I went just by media I'd feel the same as you. Nancy Grace made a name vilifying her. But I watched every minute of the trial.

I guess a jury's not guilty verdict means nothing to you.

Agree. I've known people whose children drowned in pools. 3 of them. No one was charged with murder or negligence. Accidents happen. You don't bag and tape your dead child and dump them in the woods for fear of embarrassment or judgement. You do it for murder. The only scenario where I see this being realistic is she killed her daughter and the grandparents protected their daughter. Because a daughter would NOT protect her parents over the death of her own child.
 
Not only that, but leading the cops on wild goose chases, blaming a nanny you never even met, etc. And if your dad molested you as a child, why would you even let him near your daughter?

The cops fucked up several aspects of the case, and the physical evidence was weak, so I understand how the jury could have let her off… but I have zero doubt she did it.

And that's why I'm not fit to serve on a jury. I'm not letting a bitch off I know is guilty over technicalities. I get the reason for the premise of "reasonable doubt"....but there are way too many technicalities for criminals to get off.

I liked it. Bummed that I have to wait a week for the next episode.
 
The English, Amazon Orignal, 6 ep western miniseries on Prime. Emily Blunt and an Indian dude named Chaske Spencer. Dialogue somewhat similar to Deadwood in its wordiness and old fashioned sentence structure. Good story and pretty well acted. Excellent cinematography and locations.
