📺Television Movie/tv thread

Umbrella Academy starts off strong. However, the apocalyptic girl who was straight in season 1, bi or gay in season 2, has now come out as trans in season 3, chopping off her hair, changing her name to "Victor" and even giving a speech about living a lie in someone else's body blah blah eyeroll blah blah.

Yeah, I’m a few episodes in, I was wondering how they were going to handle that when she was still a girl in the first episode of season 3. No way Hollywood was going to make it stay a woman.

Downloaded Terminal List to watch on long ass flights today, watched ep 1 last night, is very good

Wrong thread, but since we went there....how long before gay is removed from the special attention and you can't be gay, you have to be trans....

It was just unnecessary for the show, but yeah, Hollywood has to go there.

Finally saw The Batman. Pretty good, but that meme about a new darker, grittier Batman movie coming out every few years is 100% accurate.

Damn, Juggs getting ratio'd for that opinion.

I didn't like Bruce Wayne as a sad emo kid. The hair, the runny eye makeup, and he looked sad all the time. Lenny Kravitz's kid kept calling him "Vengeance," but he was more like "Despair."

"I AM.....sad"

We both loved it. It's totally tongue in cheek and never tries to take itself too seriously. Completely over the top violence and voice acting. I can't see where a lot of people wpuld turn it off after a few minutes but I'm glad I checked it out.

I think Juggs has gone full on woke, liking a sissy Batman

Finished Terminal List, bad ass.
Well, I like Keaton's Batman most of all. The point is, I think Bale's version was overrated just because the movies were done so well. At if we're being honest, without Heath's version of the Joker, they wouldn't have loved him nearly as much. Heath and Liam Neeson carried those movies.

Also finished Terminal. Agree it was bad ass. The way he killed the Mexican....badass medieval/native shit. Those tomahawks are Winklers, Winkler makes some awesome knives and tactical hawks made for spec ops. Knives start at $300 and the hawks start around $450. I've wanted to buy some of their stuff for a while, but the price point....I buy guns/ammo instead.

Also, unfortunately I called who the last person was. They only dropped a single hint to it, but it jumped out right away.

The wife agreed to watch RRR. I will report back with my findings.

RRR?

I thought it was an abbreviation so I googled it. That's actually the name of hte movie. Indian (red dot, not woowoo) revolutionaries fight back against the British in their colonization.

Thanks. How are you people watching that movie and not commenting on our new forum logo?
