📺Television Movie/tv thread

Got a long ass plane ride to OR tomorrow, have season 6 of Peaky Blinders downloaded, may make that long flight tolerable. Have been watching Tehran on Apple TV, enjoying it a lot

Greenland. Apocalypse movie. So fucking irritating. Mom is getting dragged out of the car screaming and fighting. The son is 9 and just stares and screams. You’re 9 and on the other side of the car. Just get out instead of being kidnapped you retard.

Operation Mincemeat was really good. I had a hard time seeing the main dude as anyone but Michael Peterson from the Staircase show.

Moon Knight was pretty damn good.

Wife and I started watching DMZ on HBO last night. We got about 3/4 through with the 1st episode and were totally confused. There was zero backstory, and characters that we barely knew were put in situations which usually require the audience to be attached. I joked "What if we are actually watching the last episode?". We. Were. :s eppuku:

Lol

Peacock is a giant PITHA to watch, but I am in the mood to rewatch Weeds

It’s interesting to watch shows from the mid 2000s like this where there was no talk of systemic racism but people just made jokes about each others races then got on with the business of selling pot.

In the middle of Moon Knight now. I really like it. I’m constantly asking myself what the fuck is happening, but in a good way.

This is a shitty idea. Why not do a series about Bran? After all, who had a better story than Bran?

So far there’s been talks of like 5 GoT shows in development and all but 1 have fallen through.

I’d agree on Arya, that could be a good show. Not sure what story there is for Jon, there’s like 10 wildlings left

Damn, I hate to see Peaky Blinders end, though i know there’s a movie that‘ll serve as season 7, but the Thomas Shelby character is so well done, would be cool to take it further. Season 6 was a bit weird, at times hard to follow, but overall i thought good to really good.

The Northman is streaming on Peacock, watched it last night. It’s a slow burn, but very well done, like all Eggers’ movies. That wide-eyed vvitch girl is in it and shows off her beaver at one point, too

I hate how many streaming services I have to get to watch good shows. Places like Peacock who have 1 or 2 shows I want to see.

Ep 5 of Obi-Wan really stepped it up. Good episode.

Vader just completely f'n with her was awesome.

Not consistent writing for Vader though. 2 episodes prior he snapped a teenager's neck for running out to check on his father, but he doesn't kill a bitch that tried to kill him?

I did like the lightsaberless lightsaber duel though.
