Question for Doc in the post
Fucking people suck. There was the lock down at my kid's school over the shooting threat. The brand new school they just spent 2 years building, someone knocked out the glass of all the doors and windows down an entire wall and they're just cardboarded up.
Now, someone in Gainesville, details are unclear, except a high school or college aged kid posted on social media they intended to shoot up a school and listed a few schools as optional targets (my kids school being one). My kid's school said authorities looked into it and there wasn't enough evidence to arrest/detain. How is threatening to murder children at school not enough of a threat to arrest someone? Is that not illegal?
It may or may not be nothing, but considering the last few shooters of note were known to have made the same comments, looked into by cops or FBI, completely ignored it, only for them to follow through on their threat. As an aside, you can't even get into the office building to check out your kid at the new school without being buzzed. They did a good job on the new school. Every building is locked. The kid says the teachers keep propping their doors open and the Principal has to keep going on the intercom and announcing for all teachers to shut and lock their doors, it's a requirement, not an option.
