⚖️Law & Order Crimes and trials

Would appreciate your take doc!

Well, I haven't really been following it and I am not up on all the ins-and-outs of New York law. As I understand it, Trump is accused of falsifying business records to cover up some kind of crime. From what social media is telling me, the jury doesn't have to agree exactly what crime he was covering up as long as they unanimously agree that he tried to cover up a crime.

That seems a little inconsistent with the usual principles of criminal law (i.e., in order to find a defendant guilty of a crime, the prosecution must prove each element beyond a reasonable doubt), but perhaps New York law allows for it.

I have noticed there's a lot of nonsense on social media surrounding this trial.

Shit's gonna get real interesting if he's convicted and even more interesting if he's incarcerated.

Its clear they are going to convict him no matter what the judge has to do. Im betting they will try sentencing him too. Wonder how long it will take for an injunction to be issued by a higher court given all the shenanigans. Then wonder when the appeal will be heard.

WTF!? Trump will spin this to his advantage and crush President Dementia, only true blue fktards think this was above board.

He'll get an appeal and he'll win. If not, SCOTUS better step in after an absurdly unconstitutional trial. Then he'll win the election by every metric possible, but the Dems will find a way to corrupt it to claim victory. The RINO's will let them get away with it. Then it's either war or tyranny. Either way, the Republic is dead.

Yeah it’s all very dumb. It’s unsavory but I don’t understand it’s an actual crime. He’s a well known adulterer with 3 wives, he’s going to pay someone off mainly to keep the mrs from knowing, not solely to win an election. Payoffs and ndas aren’t illegal

Is the below all wackily true doc?
