.223 rounds stop a tank? Theyd make a dent, that’s it. Why else would we have anti-tank artillery?

Lies and misinformation, but it’s cool because liberals believe it.

I was exaggerating but he did say something along the lines of it being able to penetrate body armor.
Well that’s intentionally misleading also. Armor comes in various ratings. There’s only 1 level of actual body armor that won’t stop a .223. Everything else will.

I may or may not have armor that will stop anything below a .50 cal

Yeah. Not shocking

Because it’s so hard to mine the needed materials and start up manufacturing here, body armor is manufactured in other countries like Russia. Thanks environmentalists!

Actually it would likely depend on what type the armor is. Steel plate armor is pretty basic. We still mine iron ore don't we? Ceramic armor? Not sure.

It’s my understanding that the best stuff is made of basalt but can’t get the mines open for the right type here because they are in Oregon

"best stuff" depends on the purpose. But basalt is still in research for body armor the last I read. The military uses kevlar and ceramic armor. Ceramic is light, strong, and deflects some of the impact around it. Downside is, you take 1 shot and the armor is worthless. If you get hit with 2 rounds, you're fucked.

The defense ask for a mistrial, but I didn't ever hear a resolution to that. Is that something that is still hanging out there that the judge can drop like a bomb at anytime? Does it become moot once the jury starts deliberations?

The judge can rule on it after the jury comes back, or the defense can make another motion, for "judgment notwithstanding the verdict." I think this judge would rather the jury come back "not guilty" than stick his neck out.

Yeah...and they requested mistrial with prejudice meaning no new trial.

My guess is there will be a hung jury. I think fear of Kenosha going down in flames and doxing of the jury is going to prevent acquittal from at least one juror.

So far, the jury has asked for copies of the first six pages of jury instructions, which contain the self-defense instructions. I've read that the foreman is the only one with a copy, so this seems like they all want to look at it together. We're more sophisticated down here in Florida, we give each juror his or her own copy of instructions at the outset.

And then they asked for pizza for lunch.

Jury: Guilty!

Judge:Mistrial!

Crowds Outside:Ok, justice was served, let's go home.

It's retarded that the jury didn't take 15 seconds to decide. They leave the room, turn around and go yo, we're ready.

Yes and no. I mean, a quick verdict I think is good for the defense, but a long verdict isn't necessarily bad, either. Sometimes juries take their duty really seriously and want to review all the testimony and evidence to make sure they get it right. And of course, there could be a holdout or two on the jury that needs to be convinced.

(JoJo is the pedophile who first attacked Rittenhouse - it astounds me that people are trying to make him out to be a hero or a martyr or something. He raped several little boys. Huber was just a domestic abuser)

Honestly, there's only like 30 people outside, but I think things could escalate if the judge did that. If he's inclined to grant a defense motion for mistrial or directed verdict, then he should probably wait a couple of weeks for things to calm down, and the weather to get colder.

Haven't watched the news, I just assumed the clowns were out in force after I heard the National Guard was being brought in.
