It never ceases to amaze me that rioting under a thin veneer of justice gets a pass but concern for one’s livelihood is considered out of bounds and racist. I don’t often think we are doomed, but this disparity is alarming

Was he even tried the 1st time around? I thought the prosecutor just summarily dropped all the charges.

He paid some fine, so I assume he had to agree to some charge.

Interesting. I haven't been following this case beyond the original media frenzy surrounding it. I am dimly aware that there was some allegation that there were FBI agents who infiltrated the group and may have encouraged them.
