2 different times, 3 turn signals I got stuck at more than one cycle because of a car dragging ass (in combo with this towns horrendously short turn signals in busy NW areas)....

Every single time, the car holding people up....A fucking Prius. Prius drivers are the worst.
 
I see a lot of enviros complaining non-stop on FB about removing trees for construction. Crying or chaining themselves to trees.

I'm working on a project where we're taking down a 60" and 54" live oak (the 54" isn't that grade being on a crowded fence line, but the 60" has a large and beautiful canopy).....just so we don't have to move an entrance road over 20-25 feet. :lol:

Engineers are not tree huggers, that's for sure. Personally I'd go around. The extra asphalt would literally be cheaper than what they'll pay in fines for taking down these 2 trees.
 
One of the mitigation methods for several species of endangered bats is to clear cut seasonally. People are cutting down trees to comply - huge areas they may want to access at some point. It’s mad
 
I hate companies, back to how impossible it is to cancel.

I had fiber optic installed. 10x faster download, 50x faster upload for $40 less a month. I'm trying to cancel Cox and they keep trying to make me offers. I told them more than once, a few dollars less doesn't make your unreliable internet service cut in and out, your speed any faster, etc.

FFS you cunts, your product is inferior and absurdly overpriced. There is no world where you can compete. A $5 discount means fuckall. They are pissing me off.

Also, my A/C quit working AGAIN this weekend. What the fuck. I'm beyond pissed with these people. Fuck Trane.
 
Oh fucking fuck. They asked me about my speeds with fiber optic. 1gb up/download. That's 50x/10x greater than Cox for $40/mo less. And Cox routinely loses service and/or buffers.

They asked me a 3rd time if I'd like a cheaper price to keep Cox. I just told her that price doesn't make their shitty internet service more reliable. And after all this....this cunt can't even help me. She has to transfer me to a different department.

The cable companies are hemorrhaging money and they know their days are numbers. Honestly, fiber optic is on the same track but on a slower train. No need for wires run to house in the next decade. They are just trying to hold on to the same type of people who still have AOL accounts.

Much slower train since fiber is just now being run throughout the city. The startup cost for Starlink makes it a nogo for many. Fiber, no hidden fees, no limits, no renting/buying equipment, no nothing. Just cheap, fast service.
 
They flat out told me my neighborhood is at the end of the cable run, that's their excuse to why those who I've talked to in my neighborhood also complain about constant buffering and service going in and out. It's also old as shit.

Why do Iphones calendar reminder times suck? I always have 1 alert set to 4 hours for afternoon appts. Only the auto-fill from my calendar carried over from my android a couple years ago gets it. Create a new appt, it's 2 hours or 12 hours....that's retarded.
 
It never fails. Garbage/recycling day comes. I put my shit on the curb. A contractor, work crew, city employee, and in this case a utility finder from "Blood Hound" parks directly in front of my bins. There's literally 100 feet of curb on either side that has no bins he could park. I walked out there, straight at his truck and he looked at me. I asked if he was fucking retarded as I moved my bins .
 
I love my parents, but fucking hell. They come to visit and do it during the work week. So I'm sitting here trying to work, listening to Vance on JRE, and my dad has no hesitation in just starting to talk about shit he's reading and now having a full conversation with my mom while he's sitting 5 feet from me. Apparently me just stopping the podcast is too subtle.

I don't even know why I try to get work done when they're here :facepalm:
