That is accurate. For years I've only gotten my kid to eat broccoli, asparagus, or Brussel sprouts by roasting.
Until I went to college it was only corn and carrots, maybe some green beans

Had to pick up my kid from school yesterday afternoon. Some boys got grape juice all over her. In her hair, on her clothes, her shoes, all over her backpack. She says it was an accident, they were "fighting"/playing with each other. She has no idea who they were and I'm trying to find out.
White shirt, white shoes, the grape juice isn't coming out of the brand new Jansport very well. I'm pissed. Here's the thing....after getting grape juice on her, they stopped and apologized. Then they kept doing it and got even more on her/her stuff. That means they recognized what they were doing, making the 2nd time no longer a fucking accident. She won't say/do anything because black kids there tend to find reasons to jump the white kids. In groups of course.
She didn't get a yearbook last year, so the neighbor is going to bring her daughter's over. I'm going to get that little piece of shit's name and find the parents. Now what are the odds that these parents....or parent, are good people and not just niggers who'll tell me to go fuck myself? I'm hoping they'll have a public FB that I can get a feel for them. My goal is to do this without outing my kid so it doesn't come back on her at school, which is is clearly what she's afraid of that she's not telling me.
So I'm left with the question of how I make these people pay, because they will pay one way or another, be it reimbursement or punctured tires.

I always assume that people will do the right thing, until they don't. Kids' behavior at that age isn't necessarily reflective of the parents, but the fact that he apologized and then did it again isn't a good sign.

and it sounded like a half ass apologize. Like a, "oh sorry" right before he immediately resumed the juice fight hovering over these girls. I had to put a towel in my seat before she got in.
My experience is parents don't do the right thing for their kids actions. Like my neighbor when our kids were attached at the hip for years and her daughter spilled a full mug of hot chocolate in my laptop, shut it, said nothing, and fried my laptop. Mom made her apologize, that's it. Not even an offer replace or help replace the laptop. I've seen too many other parents who don't discipline their kids, are the friend not the parent.....

I hate tech companies. If you have any kind of service, FAQ or search will answer every question but one.....Letting you or how to cancel their fucking service. Every. single. one.
We finally have fiber internet, so I can ditch the infinitely slower, yet far more expensive Cox. Try to see how to cancel (without going in person or waiting on the phone for an hour) their service, you get nothing. You're told how to relocate, suspend, pause, etc.....but not cancel. All I want to do is simply set a god damn date to end service.

Yeah, I'm getting 1 gig up/down, no cap for $70/mo. I'm paying Cox $105/mo for 500 down and like 100 up with a limit (that I've never hit). My boss got it already, Pavlov, and says it's night and day difference.

I pay $100/month for I think 600 down and 100 up but they put a 1.2 TB monthly limit on it, which I actually hit one month due to everyone in my family streaming a bunch of stuff on separate devices during the summer (kids at home, watching youtube and wife binging a bunch of TV).
More speed, no cap for less sounds good to me. I have to look into what the install costs and if I need to change out any equipment - I bought my own cable modem instead of renting it from Comcast, so I think at the very least I will have to rent whatever they use for fiber from AT&T. My wireless router is probably still good.
