Placed my order 7am Saturday. Email said it would be delivered Sunday. 2 text messages Sunday morning said it would be delivered Sunday. Never showed. No word today. Finally, since you can't contact an individual store, you contact corporate. He they were up to 9 days behind on deliveries (how the fuck?) and that they're advising everyone to come into the store to pick it up.

1) The fuck they are, they aren't advising shit if I haven't been contacted in any way.

2) So even when deliveries are working, you can sit in that shit hole waiting room for 2 hours waiting...and now they're telling everyone to come in. FFS, I use delivery so I don't have to lose half a day of work in that dump.

My wife was grumpy this morning and needed to use the bathroom. I was shaving and tried to leave but she was blocking the door. She didn’t move and I didn’t move, I said something about her blocking the doorway when she appeared frustrated that I wasn’t letting her in.

She got mad because she thought I was calling her fat.

Took folks fishing Tuesday & Wednesday am, both mornings were around 18, stayed below 20 until 10 am, all our shit was freezing up, my toes were numb AF all morning.
 
Wife is still dealing with this GERD shit. I think we're finally ready to go the route @juggs did (treating for low stomach acid). The doctors have been pretty useless so far.

So this may sound like it sucks....but 2 weeks ago I went full carnivore diet. After months of research and seeing that it's true, there's no actual scientific studies that link heart disease, cholesterol, etc. with red meat and fat....and it's actually just the opposite...what the hell.

I eat nothing but fatty meat (mostly beef, salmon and sardines with some bacon and other pork), a ton of eggs, butter, beef tallow, lard, and occasionally dairy products. I stopped all supplements and shit I was taking. Completely zero carb diet.

GERD is completely gone and many areas of quality of life have improved in just 2 weeks. It's a pretty limiting diet and can be annoying, but it's also incredibly simple if you're the type that doesn't mind eating the same stuff/leftovers....which I am. Oh but the 3 days leading up to my starting I ate out a lot and got all my favorite shit :lol:

If you're unfamiliar with the diet, there are a lot of Doctors and nutrionists (real ones, with practices)...from PCP to neurologists to cardiologists who have Youtube channels. This guy is pretty damn thorough and has a lot of videos on the myths and lies we've been fed about our modern diet. Usually with scientific studies/links to back it up. Oh WTF. I need to get another eye exam, been 2 years and now I think I need driving glasses, too. I was already at Walmart, so decided to just use their vision center since my optometrist only has stupid expensive frames. I walk in and ask to make an appt. She hands me a card and says I have to go to their website or call and shoos me away.

I get home and their website says they take walk ins and their appt card was pretty open. WTF. When you see a 70 year old working at a menial job (she clearly wasn't the optometrist), it's guaranteed they SUCK at their job and want to do as little as possible.

Fair, but it's the vision center. There's a Dr, technicians, etc. They're not some yahoos they hired to run a register :lol:

She was the first one I saw and walked up to. I didn't really give her a choice.

When I went back the next day for my appt, the different staff was much friendly and helpful. My prescription was notably stronger and my astigmatism is twice as bad :suicide:
 
Damn, mother nature went ham tonight. Ef3-ef4 tornado was around four miles from my house. Haven’t heard about damage there yet. Half-ish of Amory, Ms took a direct hit from it.

Heard there are 8 dead in the Ms delta. Rolling Fork, Ms, is gone.
