Amazon Prime - "Prime" delivery is 5 days on basic items.

I'm trying to time deliveries so the kids' christmas gifts don't get here when she is. So I ordered today thinking it'd be here this weekend. Nope. Not until Tuesday when she's here.
 
So… new rifle, scope, muzzle brake, etc, arrived yesterday… the only thing shipped by usps, to arrive today, is showing still in Jackson, Ms.

Fucks up the whole because that box has the scope rings in it. Cannot mount my scope without it.

Motherfuckers.
 
my absolute douchey coworker continues to be douchey so I sent him a series of bitchy emails and to others involved to cover my own ass. I hate doing that but he's a fucking cocksucker.
 
Jagoff neighbor put in a security light. Well, he's actually two houses down, and we all live on big properties.
Anyway, I pull up google earth and measure, and I estimated it to be at least 700 feet, probably closer to 1000 from my back porch.

That fucking light illuminates my house.

I can go on my back porch (the only place I get any peace), and make motherfucking shadow puppets on the wall. Plus, it looks like a tiny sun in my eyes. I'm going to have to say something, this is bullshit.

When I was a kid, my aunt put a trailer on our property. Well she was a single, paranoid, scared woman and she had the electric company put in a security light on the telephone pole. It was only about 75 feet from my bedroom window.

I shot out that light with my bb gun 3 times and eventually the electric company told my dad that someone was shooting it out. Obviously I got busted :lol:

Here is a shot from the back porch, at about 14x zoom. The guy in between owns a well company, those are a couple of his trucks. The light is just below the transformer on the pole waaay back there. Google earth says 1,024 feet from my house.

I'm about to lose my shit. For weeks now i'm operating on just a few hours of sleep a night.

Yeah yeah yeah, don't complain, well fuck that. my parents are visiting again. I already got annoyed and quit working yesterday because my dad won't stop talking and making noises and being overall noisy. I could hear my mom tell him yesterday when I got up and left that he was bothering me and I couldn't concentrate on work. And here I am trying to do a design and my dad is sipping loudly on his coffee literally 3 feet to my right while he's burping and farting

for fuck sake. For a guy who bitches non stop about people have no manners or common courtesy anymore, he's very much guilty of doing many of the same things himself and is completely oblivious about it. There's no fucking way I'm going to get anything done today. I'll end up with forced vacation apparently, yet I have a fucking schedule to get a project out the door before the end of the week

That wasn't us. Truck driver, he was on the road most of my life. The gray hairs are all on the terrible fucking drivers :lol:

FTR - He rates Alabama has having among the absolute worst in the country (excluding huge cities of course).

I just got stuck with 5 assholes making a u turn, preventing me from making a right.

I drive an 18 year old truck with 300k miles on it. If I wasn't drinking I would have just went and let them hit me and fake an injury.

But yeah, it was -8 at my parents yesterday. 20 down here this morning. Nice to have a Christmas without shorts and sweat.
 
Having my cat put down tomorrow. I've had him for 18 years and his life quality just isn't good anymore. I'm gonna miss the hell out of him.
