🤬Bitch Bitch thread

I spent most of my working life around loud tools and machines. I ALWAYS wore hearing protection on the shop floor, even when shit wasn't running. I know guys for 30 years that never did and I know those fuckers will be deaf as shit when they get old.
 
I'm so god damn sick of every single aspect of life. I can't wait for my daughter to be ...say 25-30ish so I start drinking again and not give a fuck what happens. That are the a societal collapse so I can murder people at will.

Back when Crafstman made tools that lasted that long. Now they're basically Harbor Freight quality.

Craftsman is just a label they slap on shit now. Porter Cable, Black n Decker, DeWalt, Mac, Irwin...all the same shit in different colors and different labels.

Craftsman is just a label they slap on shit now. Porter Cable, Black n Decker, DeWalt, Mac, Irwin...all the same shit in different colors and different labels.

It doesn't feel that way. I have a variety of different tools, electrical or manual. DeWalt, Bosch, etc. are definitely a higher quality than certain other brands. Particularly electric tools, with motor strength being the difference.

Years ago I would have agreed with you, but now if you pick up a dewalt, porter cable, or craftsman drill or saw they are same thing only one is red, one is yellow and one is grey. :lol:
 
Maybe it depends on the tool. I tried a couple cheaper items like a router and orbit sander. The cheap ones I went with burnt out quickly or did a crap job. My Bosch router and sander have gotten way more, harder use and still running as strong as day 1.
 
my friend sent out a doodle poll for when to have a book swap at her house, everyone put in their dates and friday was scheduled. So I went through and crated up my old books and NOW people who said a week ago they could do it are now cancelling and I dont have room for these damn crates of books and dont want to reshelve them. I'm so pissed off.

I'm sure. I have 4 Porter Cable routers that are about 25 years old and still work great. I have a feeling if I bought a new one now it wouldn't last as long.

Yeah my 25 year old Craftsman circular saw my dad gave me still runs great.
