Yeah I got one or two taking crowd shots where it focused on the back of someone’s head.

It was actually sort of fun because I’m both an introvert and bossy so it was an icebreaker
 
JFC, my neighbors have the loudest generator. Fucker sounds like an airplane warming up.

My generator is silent and I can keep it in the house.

Inconsiderate bastards.

Power went out at 10 am.
 
Pretty much hit us dead on. Lost power for a short period as the worst hit around 5 am but back on before the wind switched and stayed on the remainder of the storm. Underground utilities.

And living next door to an fpl exec I'm assuming I'd be fixed quick if our area went down.
 
I lost power for 2-3 hours and at the same time, I had zero cell reception. Not because the weather was bad. Every few months the transformer across the street blows. The house vibrates, the sky goes purple, and power goes out. Usually it only lasts 10-15 minutes. Not the case yesterday.

I just smoked a cigar in my garage while watching the weather.
 
I got a jackery but haven’t bought the panels yet they’ve been so pricy. We don’t lose power for very long so keeping it charged up isn’t an issue so far
 
Some religious nutjob told me that all our dating of historical objects are wrong because the Bible says the earth is only 6,000 years old.

FFS I hate die hard fundamentalists. Physics isn't as reliable as a single book written by fallible men :facepalm:
