We already all knew that Kim K. released her own sex tape to get famous. Now the details....Mom, the guy, and Kim sat down together to go through their different sex tapes to decide which one to release. So mom watched them all with them and dictated which one. Good job, mom. I mean, no one with sense ever felt sorry for Kim.

Fucking hipsters and millennials ruin everything. Just like how I use to be able to buy a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle and then suddenly got popular and I'd go years without finding a bottle. Come to think of it, A few years ago I stopped by a cigar bar here in Gainesville and near Jonesville and I was by far the oldest one in there and I was still in my 30s and they look like bitches.

You know where I like smoking? St. Augustine. Stogies has a couple different shops and every time I go in there to grab a smoke for strolling around town, I end up bullshitting with another smoker who's always well older than me.

I hate funeral traditions in America. Their will be an open casket viewing a day before the funeral. Two days of misery. I loathe open caskets. Mikeys was open casket and I refused to go see his body. Because of that I can't actually picture him dead which is nice.
 
Yeah, not a fan. All of my family members have been open casket. I haven't been to a funeral where the situation was anyone young or even remotely close to you/GCG though. And I was drinking before, during, and after the viewing and funerals.

I'm not looking forward to the next funeral I have to go to. My only family left is just my immediate family that I'm close to. Sober....that worries me. How you holding up with this? I mean, you can at least get stoned again.

I'm doing OK. I've been mourning him for a while now so the death didn't sting as hard as I thought. I feel relieved that he will never suffer again, and that I no longer have to go to sleep every night wondering if I'm going to get The Call. I did have to postpone my Germany trip. I need to pick new dates by Saturday so at least I have something to look forward to.
 
yeah my grandfather was a mortician and all his kids and their spouses wanted to be creamated to avoid that. I haven't seen much of it lately other than a coworker who was black.

There's a limit on how many castles you can appreciate in one trip. I went on one trip as a kid and my parents dragged us to every castle in every town we went to and it got old real fast. Don't get me wrong, they're pretty cool, but after a while they all start to look the same.

My mother's village has a tower on a hill with some accompanying grounds and manor house that's castle-like. It was pretty creepy during the 80s because the East Germans didn't really keep it up and it wasn't a tourist destination like it is now (you can actually spend the night, they have a few hotel rooms). There was an element of danger to exploring it back then, and it seemed more fun that way.
 
Agree about too many of one thing - my sister made us go to all the churches in nyc and it was a death March.

No matter how amazing, churches and castles can get old. I never do more than two of a type of thing in a day, ideally one. Sometimes the second best in a city is awesome and less crowded

Just like the unsatisfactory job my contractor friend's workers did on converting my french door area to windows. I got a discount and they're my friends, so I can't hammer their ass on the lack of quality.

Yes, the crowds at popular castles would kill a lot of it for me. But I'd have to disagree that I'd get tired of castles day after day. You don't know how deep my history and castle obsession is :lol: A bad example, but look at the Castillo in St. Augustine. I've been going through my entire life and I still don't get tired of walking around it. And that's incredibly plain and boring compared to those castles.

Basically every destination I'd like to travel to is completely based on historical places or sites. of course now that I know just how terrified I am of heights, I have no idea if I'll ever manage to get on a plane to see any of them :s uicide:
