🤬Bitch Bitch thread

Grandpa is declining rapidly, Grandma fell and broke 3 ribs today and punctured a lung, and my Aunt has colon cancer. Fucking hell.

Thanks guys. It's just so damn much right now.

Oh and the aunt that has cancer is Mikey's Mom. Her health went downhill fast after he died.

Holy hell, that sucks. Sorry.

Refrigerator shit the bed yesterday. Couldn't find any repairmen to come out on a Sunday. One dude had a long text convo with me about it but he was in the hospital - no idea if he's going to be able to come out today or not.

family friend from my neighborhood just died of pancreatic cancer. I didn't even realize she was sick even though I'm FB friends with her. Her last post a few weeks ago was about missing her dad, now I guess they are together.

Sorry, if cancer takes me, that’s probably how most will find out.

Yeah stuff like breast cancer tend to take a while and you get some indication. Pancreatic is so fast

LOL uber is so ridiculous. I had a meeting near the Capitol which is like 6.5 miles from here. It was $18 to get there, fine. When i tried to get one to go home around 5 it was $70 fucking dollars LOL. Luckily a friend works in the building and lives near me so I bummed a ride home. I mean my work would pay for it but $70 is laughable.

How? Does the driver make their own prices?

They increase prices when demand is high. But also because Uber's been losing money for over a decade now and the investors want to see some return.

How do you lose money on uber. People use their own cars. Granted I don't know how their business works, but it seems pretty hard to lose money in what little I know about it's operation. Except when gas prices are stupid high, that I can see.

On that note, I may ahve mentioned this before, but fuck pizza delivery places. $4 delivery charge on top of tipping the driver. Either the drivers get paid more now to compensate for shitty tippers or the drivers are getting fucked because people probably tip less due to the $4 delivery charge. And many charge a card use also.

Although I still do it, I have a hard time tipping 20% when the final total is 1/2 pizza, 1/2 random fees and they're only driving a mile or two. Unless it's raining, then it doesn't bother me.

Tip your pizza guy to ensure that your pizza remains free of his bodily fluids. It's like those fake parking lot attendants in any city of appreciable size - you're not paying for parking, you're paying to make sure your windows remain unbroken. Think of it as "insurance."

When we were in Nashville back in July, our AirBNB was just a few miles outside of downtown. It was a $9 uber into town and a $25 uber back. Everytime. No matter the time of day.

Those fuckers knew we needed a ride and bent us over.

no its congestion pricing. It was unexpectedly raining heavily and 5 pm, so traffic was worse and slower and more people needed ubers even locally who otherwise might walk. But still ridiculous. I could see it being 30 or 35 but 70 is ridic.
