It's so fucking stupid that you can't buy weed with a credit card.

my friend who is a banker said they can't even have a bank account since its still a federal crime. So they have to deal only in cash which is an accounting nightmare and puts the businesses in danger. The ones in Illinois are like going into a jail, and they bring you stuff to a counter like a bank. In DC you have to have a hotel or apartment and they bring it to you, I don't think you can go to a store because they would get robbed contantly.

I know that was the case initially, but I don't think it's true anymore. How else does my dispensary let me pay with debit card?

Debit cards are basically treated as cash. Same reason you can buy lottery with debit, but not credit.

But cash doesn't just materialize at their store when removed from my account. Wouldn't they have to have some kind of account for that money to be transferred to?

Dammit, juggs, I'm not a banker!

I dunno, my banker friend is in Illinois. at the dispensary we were at, they had an atm and only took cash. I was bummed I didn't have more cash with me and didn't want a record of me at a dispensary atm lol

I took $500 on that trip and ran out because Illinois is so backwards a lot of places don't take plastic, and I didn't hit a safe ATM in time.

Take $1000 or more next time I go and buying the store.

Your not supposed to be able to buy lottery in Florida with debit unless you spend $20 or more on something other than lottery.

Juggs , how do you feel about returning shopping carts?

I feel like Juggs could play either role in that interaction. He'd be less whiny and more aggressive than the cameraman, of course.

After the third throw, I think that guy would have been eating his camera.

He never took a punch to the face. He deservesone just for the way he talks.

I agree it's staged, but to address my stance on all the replies:

I only take the cart back if it's within a couple spots of where I'm parked. Most places in Gainesville, only have 1 cart coral for 2 long aisles. 2 things - One, I'm not leaving my daughter alone in the car. Just a habit I've had since she's little. Second, it's 110-115 degrees in the vehicle a good portion of the year. I've bought frozen stuff that was half thawed when I got home just 5 minutes away. I'm not leaving groceries in that hot fucking truck while I search out a cart coral 50 feet away.

So I wouldn't think shit about anyone not returning a cart because they make it so incredibly inconvenient to do so. If it's that big of an issue, how about doing like we did when I was a kid at Winn Dixie - Have the store go out and collect the cars more than once a damn hour or less. The reality is they have infinitely more parking spaces and carts to never provide enough cart corals to sufficiently hold them all. Many times I've seen the coral overflowing to where the carts where half in the street. If I were to ever give this issue a 2nd thought when seeing someone not returning a cart, they'd have to be parked right beside it. Then I might say, "You lazy fuck".

If I were that driver, given that I have no patience for these karens, my response would have been "Fuck off, cunt". If he threw shit on my hood like that, I'd get out, take that flyer, get right up on him and hit him with the flyer. And then inform him one day he's going to piss off the wrong person with his antics and him recording it on his phone isn't going to save him. If he was a cunt about it, I may or may not intentionally let the pistol I'm carrying imprint by pulling my shirt a little (imprinting isn't illegal, just frowned upon).

At this point I'm 100% in the camp of, "I wish a mother fucker would".
