Oh it definitely sucks. But it definitely got much better for me once I just saved myself the "open minded" attempt at dating and just eliminated anyone who wasn't a gun toting conservative. It's made it so much less frustrating despite the tiny selection left once I do that. So either I date someone with potential or I'm content doing my own thing. Fuck that opposites attract shit...not these days where politics divide us all :lol: Saturday night, we spent our evening buying new pistols :lol:
 
I would typically agree that other peoples kids suck, until I met my boy. At first I was like oh hell no, raised 3 kids, I’m done, but now I love that kid like my own, it’s really great. Dating at this age was a horror movie, glad I’m no longer swimming in the pool of crz.

Oh, btw, daughter got her pet scan back, cancer is gone, but has a few more treatments to make sure.

Awesome news.

And yeah, there are examples. I've met a kid or two that were perfectly fine to be around. I think the problem I've encountered most was that divorced moms tried to be the friend instead of the disciplinarian and the kids were a f'n nightmare. Also helps if you meet them young.

My step taught me plenty about life, but it was from the other side of the spectrum. He did make me grow up and be a productive adult, but he wasn’t trying to help me.
 
I haven't worn pajamas since I was a kid. Usually I just sleep in my underwear - if it's cold I might throw on a t-shirt.

My kid sleeps in the clothes she's wearing to school the next day.

I sleep in my boxers most of the year. Flannel pants and a shirt during the cold weeks, but I like it cold in my house. During "winter", I have the heater set on like 65 degrees, so that's damn chilly inside.
 
Single again. Almost 2 months of no arguments or anything. She was pissy recently and got bitchy with me over nothing via text. I told her being bitchy about it wasn't necessary. She said call her a bitch again and that'll be the last time she sees me. So I never messaged her back :lol:

The woman who calls other people cunts can't allow someone saying when she says something bitchy and doesn't differentiate between someone saying she said something bitching and being called a bitch (there is a difference).

I think I'm taking a month or two off.
 
:lol: I guess. She hated liberals as much as I do and had a decent number of guns for a woman....and in my experience there hasn't been many intelligent women around here. First one I've dated in years that was highly intelligent. Back to the low income dumbells I guess :lol:
 
Quit looking & it’ll happen. Holy shit I had to go thru crzville several times, thank goodness I listened to a sober friend & basically quit looking, then I found my current wife. Maybe I quit letting my willy do my thinking?
 
Yeah I call BS on the "quit looking and it'll happen" thing.

Publix is about the only place I go lately and a big chunk of the retards there wear masks still. And that's where people would say, "You have to put yourself in positions to meet people"....in which case, if you're selecting your activities to where you may meet somebody, that's still looking :lol:

Maybe more accurately is quit trying to force it, but all I really know is what worked for me, but I married my Mexican maid, probably not wise to take my dating advice :lol:
 
Oh I'm not forcing anything. I date people, spend time with them, and by the time the 2 month mark the infatuation fucking period is overshadowed by the shit that annoys me and I move on to the next one :lol:

From a sobriety standpoint, I find it interesting that one of my biggest early concerns (dating, breakups, etc possibly being a trigger) is a non-factor. Despite how well we've gotten along while together, breaking up with them hasn't bothered me one bit. Either that says a lot about me or a lot about the women I've dated :lol:
 
My wife damn near choked to death last night on a huge supplement pill. I had to do the Heimlich. Scared the ever living fuck out of me.
