VP of Marketing for Bud Light defends their trans shit by saying their brand was tanking and they needed to draw in a new market to evolve. So they did it to appeal to younger women and men who reflect us. Yeah, an attention whore represents us.

I've seen mixed answers. One is that is on the can and the other is that the face was only put on that can they presented to him and used in the commercial.

On the plus side, the sales are already way down.

If a company wants to "support" gay/trans stuff, that is one thing. But to plaster the can that rednecks, and blue collar guys are drinking out of with rainbows and gay shit...is anyone surprised they rejected it?

Exactly. As many pundits have pointed out....Start a new brand or do something other than force it on your main demographic.

But as the retarded VP of Bud said, the regular drinkers are old and tired, she doesn't care about them. She wants a new demographic. Which is absurd because Gen Z has the biggest anti-alcohol group of any generation in a century and those who do drink beer most likely drink craft beer and all the other trendy shit. Not bud light.

Bud Light in damage control. They're "re-evaluating sponsorship relationships". They throw the VP of Marketing under the bus and claim they knew nothing about it. The VP went rogue. Except Bud Light already issued a statement confirming the relationship with Mulvaney to be more inclusive.

Also the VP who said Bud Light has to get rid of the frat boy mentality....had pics of her leaked showing she is that type. Pounding drinks/partying frat style when she was younger. Another article piles on about her being a cult ideologue abusing her position to push her woke agenda by claiming the #1 selling beer in the world the last 2 years was "dying".
 
yeah its hilarious the way they are CYA. Who in 2023 thinks that social media isn't a big deal or isn't dissected. I'm in a wonky DC coalition and we just spent an hour arguing about some potential memes on our sub 500 people social media account. No way this didn't go thru everyone.
