On a similar note, the NHL is backtracking pride night after the backlash and some players refusing to weir a stupid pride jersey. Then a 20 year old who isn't quite in the NHL yet (and gay) criticized the NHL because pride night is needed to represent the alphabet people and make them feel included and safe and their authentic selves.
He's criticizing the league he's trying to get into. FFS. Oh, and you feel included by being on a TEAM of hockey players. That is how you're included. You're a team. No one cares who you fuck. Your identity is irrelevant. The fans don't care. Your teammates don't care. They care about how well you can play hockey. If your self esteem and identity is so fragile that you have to let everyone know you're gay and need them to wear a pride flag for you, go kill yourself for being a total cunt.

its weird I've had friends and coworkers over the years who cross dress and I was never ever scared of any of them.
