Do people actually get up in arms about the black character stuff? I just don't give a shit, or understand the anger. It's a fucking cartoon.
 
I’d guess my ex-step dad is extremely bothered by it. He was constantly talking about how white men were being targeted 35 years ago.

Most racist person I’ve ever met, and maybe the most useless white dude I’ve ever met. He had a liver transplant and I would tell him it had to be a black persons liver because he was living in Atlanta.
 
If it was just occasional it would be no big deal, but it seems like a concerted effort to make every originally white character black or brown.

Even when it doesn't make a bit of sense.


And my only REAL problem is the hell that would be paid if the race swapping went the other way.

They keep making money so why would they stop? My whole thing is if the kids don't care why should anyone else? These aren't real people we are talking about.

I can say with 95% certainty that it is done because making new shit is hard. Take an old character, change the race, and voila! New movie!

After they adapted everything to live action the logical next step was to play with skin color for new generations.
