ive gone through stages in my life where I want to wear more makeup and spend more time on my hair and outfits, but I never demanded others address me differently. So much of this is navel gazing idiocy.
 
I evidently was “threatening” to a trans @ Earth Fare employee today. I was looking at something in the frozen section, and this fugly dude dressed up like a girl said, pissy like l, “excuse me, I need to get here”, i suppose she needed to stock one of the shelves. I just looked at it and said you’re going to have to wait a minute. A manager I suppose came up to me a few min later and said “I was told you appeared threatening to one of our employees”. I told scooter the story, and then asked him if he’d like to see threatening, he declined, and slithered off. I probably shouldn’t have been chuckling, but it was funny AF

I hadn't thought of the double entitlement. A lot of service staff feel like they can treat customers any way they want now and call any one that doesn't praise them a Karen, same for trans.
 
Nah, just went there to get a few specific things for my wife’s strict diet. It’s kinda like a mini Whole Foods, I hate that fn place

I've noticed this for a while now. 10+ years ago, you go to Publix, and the employees stayed out of your fucking way. They also rarely stocked shelves during the day. Now, employees constantly walk straight at me without a care in the world, block shelves or items whether they're chatting with another employee or working at the pace of a sloth or looking at their phone. I realize this is people in general now, but businesses need to grow some balls and get back to keeping their employees in line. You need to get to that shelf while I'm trying to? Fuck you, kid. Wait for the customer to be done.
