 Old woman in a dunkin drive through hit the gas instead of the break hitting the car in front of her. Panicked, threw it in reverse and did the same damn thing to me sitting behind her. I got out to get her to pull out and park in the parking lot and she kept it in reverse until I yelled at her to put it in drive.

Jebus. Panicking while driving causes so many accidents. Retards.

Also, I'll continue to say this: Once you hit a certain age, you should have to take a driving test every single year to make sure you're safe to be behind the wheel. 70 seems reasonable.

When we were in high school, a friend of mine worked in a shoe store. An old lady came from the parking lot, through the front of an empty store, made a right turn through the wall into the shoe store, then another right turn out the front of the shoe store.

She said she thought she was hitting the brake pedal.

That apparently happens a lot. The number 1 sign when a person is too old to drive, confusing the pedals. Of course that's wrong, that means you're WAY past being capable of driving.

agree. there can be some cognitive tests in the meantime but there should be physical tests at some point.

The problem is no one will ever do it because of the AARP lobby and that old folks are generally richer and vote.

Weak minded people buy into the all or nothing nonsense, and parrot crap that they likely know is BS, because it makes them feel less insecure? :s hrug:

I use to think that, but I'm not sold that they don't know what they're saying is BS. Even when they're opinions change, it's that the circumstances evolved or changed and they were always right. Like how they were anti-war for a very long time, yet suddenly they're pro-war for Ukraine. They were always right and the situation was the one wrong and now right, even though Ukraine is just as bad or even worse.

Also, nice of certain Congress people to keep saying "We're at war". Did Congress vote on going to war they didn't tell us? No, liberals are forcing us into a war we have no business being in. And fuck the RINO's supporting them.

He probably leans towards euthanizing the 3 of you (for your age, not your shitty posts)

If it was because of shifty posts AG would have been dead a long time ago. Fwiw juggs wants to euthanize most everyone at some point. 8-)

A solid 90% of the world. Primarily leaving the hottest women from each country.

I forgot. AG is the only remaining Biden apologist left here.I guess I give him credit for that. But I can't believe anybody thinks Joe hasn't fucked up virtually every policy decision. And mainly because if Trump did it, it needs to be reversed.

I unfriended all the trump bashing libs which I guess was just ag and numby so no idea about his shitty posts. But assume it's the typical line that is all trumps fault.

I do actually blame trump some. If he hadn't been such a divisive asshole, seemingly rational people like doc would have voted for him.

Inflation started when dems alone passed the "American Rescue Plan" in March 2020. Gas prices had started going up after Biden was elected because of his idiotic climate policies.

both Biden's war on fossil fuels dumb regs and policies and giving people money to stay home long after there was a need for it as well as other enhanced benefits resulted in too much money chasing too few goods and a huge labor shortage.

The stimmy signed by trump before leaving office was also unnecessary and unhelpful, but inflation didn't really get going until Biden and the dems did those 2 MAJOR stupid things. Lots of other dumb unhelpful policies and mismanagement have also done more damage. Basically businesses have much more shit to contend with which costs money.

Also no way that Putin invades Ukraine without Biden: Trump didn't exude weakness, and gas would have been much cheaper so Putin wouldn't have the resources.

Every fucking problem is Biden's fault.

The problem is that the narcissism that made him a divisive asshole is also what got him elected and really motivated him to run in the first place.

I don't like Trump because I don't think he has any core beliefs. I don't think he has thought critically about the issues that he ran on. His goal was always to promote the Trump brand - I don't think he expected he would actually win.

Tend to agree, except I think he did expect to win. And despite that, turns out his policies were generally sound. He was a lifelong democrat, of course he doesn't have any core beliefs.

Disagree ? the dem party has changed drastically on the issue of government power and involvement. I know because that’s what changed me. Sure trump used his lived experience to govern - everyone does. But mostly that was very good for the us and economy - decreasing government intrusion is a huge benefit. The tax cuts and cheap energy made many companies reshore and invest in the us, and the economy was booming - especially at the bottom.

Why is it better to elect lifelong bureaucrats who think that’s the answer to everything while they enrich themselves?

Behind the bluster was a lot of great policy. Now we see the results of that being undone

Please tell me if you had it to do all over again you would vote for him.

I would, but it pisses me off that those are our choices, but I guess we get the representatives we deserve. I know I've said this before, I know that past presidents have been far from perfect, but I believe the POTUS should be somebody who kids could look up to and live by a higher standard. Trumps an embarrassment as a human being and his lack of character is astounding.
