All are welcome of course. They can all joint up if they want to and then we can figure out what to do with them - new site or just folded into this one.
 
Doc, you’ve got to add a thumbs up/thumbs down counter if they come, like Ox has. Some of them melted down when I thumbs downed their posts last time I was there

Why is he shutting it down?

If he is shutting it down why would he care if people there spread the word about this place?

"Reaction score" encompasses that, I think. There's positive and negative reactions. I am of course open to adding more or taking away.

I've heard a rumor that he may be going to a paywall model or that he's going to be doing a major change to the site in some way. But my gut says that thread is an April Fools' Day joke. Not sure what to believe, but I'm all for having a few more members as long as they aren't dicks.

It would be a thousand or so members I think…who knows how ox thinks…I think he is ready to shut it down but may go to monthly pay…he’s tired of the site and the members are tired of him
 
I doubt there would be a thousand coming over. At least not all at once. There are like 100 or so really active posters over there outside of football season. @DocZaius promise me you'll ban corch and rev. That's all I ask. :)

I can only speak for myself when I say that I haven't give it much thought. But now that you mention it, I have to say no....not at all.

However, I am a fan of naked, attractive, biological females, guns, shooting, hunting, and home distillation.

Every time a stupid Native American FB page pops up in my feed, whining about their land being stolen and how Natives were peace loving and weren't as portrayed, all 800-1000 tribes lived in harmony. I always say bullshit, they raped, murdered, enslaved, stole from, and generally fought over resources like everyone else in the world. Then the white man came and said "Hold my beer".
