Agreed. We've been hearing it a lot lately, but it's dead on....why do basic foods have 3 or 4 ingredients around the rest of the world and America has 20 in the exact same food? Gut that shit and make it easier to eat healthier.

And sit there for 40 years not doing a damn thing? Being so old you have to be told what to vote for? And your dipshit lefties keep voting them in? Long term Representatives who try to make policy based on their bank account.....term limits greatly inhibits that.
 
The issue is with the Faucis not people who are accountable to voters who can vote them out.

I know it’s fucked up and popular to lash out at congress but it’s the bureaucrats who deserve your derision. Governing is actually complicated, particularly for the kinds of people we want who aren’t lifelong pols. I say let the voters decide.
 
Sorry we can’t live with these people. On the old boards I defended Muslims because of some Muslim friends but the actions of them since 10/7 has made me realize that a large number of them are stone as barbarians and don’t belong in western society

Oh I agree, people like Fauci are a much bigger issue. But most voters don't have the first clue who they're voting for. They just blindly vote R or D and not for a specific Congressman because of policies. I'd rather have a turnover to limit corruption by not having a RINO or extreme Dem perpetually elected because there's no one else in their body to oppose them. Once they're in, they're in, unless the opposite party wins. I'd rather people have a better opportunity to replace people they elected when they don't properly represent them. If red state get a RINO, they don't get an option of just replacing him unless the RINO dies or retires.

I had a Muslim client once in a very petty property dispute over a fence line (in D.C. of all places). I came out to his house, his family welcomed me into his home like I was an old friend even though I was a complete stranger - I mean, really, I was just some young lawyer hired by his insurance company to defend him. I was nobody to them, just doing my job, and it's almost like they adopted me.

It's hard for me to believe a guy like that could also be an extremist. But I'm not ignorant of statistics, either.

Governor isn't a federal position though. That's not on the table is it?

Odds of good vs bad is impossible to say. 8 or even 12 years is more than enough for these people. Enough of this going in an average Joe and walking out a millionaire for either party because the people rarely vote them out. Why should they get to vote themselves never ending benefits and income? Absurd.

At the very least, there needs to be a required primary with an opponent, no one runs unopposed. None of this, "Oh, Rick Scott was our Congressman the last term, so he'll automatically be on the ballot next time against the Democrat".
